Its a cute phone, I got mine for £90, with £25 credit. The bluetooth is terrible, but the mp3 player is quality. All in all I dont recommend this phone though.

I have had this phone for about a month now. I have had no problems apart from it doesnt recognise other phones on bluetooth but you can still send and recieve things from other phones if they can recognise you. The video doesn't record sound but otherwise this phone is brilliant and im happy with it.

the vk 4000 is a very very poor phone, the blutooth dosn't work properly as it will never regognise any oyher phone!! the camera is rubbish to start off with. but the thing that really annoys me is that the video camera dosn't record sound. so when you want to record a funny video of your mate being violently sick across your nehbours front yard then you can't get the damn sound effects!!!!

                  NOT IMPRESSED!!

I got my VK4000 from Virgin last week. I paid £69.99 but only got £15.00 of top up vouchers. I wasn't offered a choice of colours - I got silver.

I have tried to get music tracks by Bluetooth from my husbands Samsung phone but it won't regonise my VK4000. I phoned Virgin last night and they told me I can only send and receive things by Bluetooth to/from other VK4000 phones. What is the point of that???

I agree with Charlie that sending texts is a slow and labourious task.

And taking photos is an experience in itself.

It is also a pain not having any funtions on the screen without having to slide the phone open.

If you just want a basic phone it's ok, but you probably could get one that just does the basics alot cheaper.

Being a former Samsung user I am not pleased with the menus on the VK4000 and having to "ok" every funtion is a REAL pain too.

I own a pink VK 4000 (bought from Argos) and my 12 year old daughter loves it so much she wants one for Christmas. A great little phone had absolutley no probs with it. I bought a 1gig mmc from MOBYMEMORY.COM complete with a usb adaptor for around £20.00 which works great for downloading mp3's quickly without having to use a data cable. The only down side with this is its a little fiddley to get the card out of the phone! You can also download by bluetooth (but this can take 2-3 mins per track) All in all would thoroughly reccommend this cute phone to any one.

if u have a bluetooth dongle u can connect to the pc and upload pics and mp3 by using object push right click on object push on the pc interface and chose send file/object. on send mp3 it will go to the music file folder ect. DO NOT buy a usb lead for this phone as it is completly usless with out the drivers which are not avilible, DO NOT buy 1 gig micro sd cards as the are not reconised by the phone ( kingston ) apperently some one has got a 1gig sansdisk to work but i havent got a spare £50 To test this option am about to try a 512 and will report my findings latter, Also the bluetooth sometimes freezes and u need to rebot the phone to get it to work ... All good fun
