I purchased this phone yesterday. For a entry level smartphone it is a good buy. It does not have flash but that's no big issue for people who just prefer daylight shooting. This phone can download 1 megabyte data in 3 seconds which I counted.
It does have a boxy design but so does a Iphone. Box designed phones have a more slick look than those rounded edge phones (just my opinion).
I paid R899.00 in Durban (South Africa). A good buy and it has android so no biggy. you can still get your usual apps and games.

It's Android. bbm has been available for use on android, iphone and windows for nerly a year. i was 1 of 1000 people to beta test it before it was release accross all platforms. i was thenm using samsung s2 and windows lumia 610.. i have it on my 2 phones now. sony xperia z and my vodafone smart mini 4(which i have unlocked and using Lycamobile sin in it)..

Anonymous, 24 May 2014can i get bbm?yes you can get bbm, i have bbm,viber, whatsapp and many other apps running on mine, and i have also had mine unlocked to all networks and it still works great..

Smart 4 mini comes with what from the box guys is sd card free/ have to buy t your self? N i think you to go with s4 @ zama ts a good phone any ts let u use any sim unluck huawei mtn only

ligaf, 20 Jul 2014Does this use the same battery as the previous vodafone mini?I really thought this fone was a blessing but I had it for 9 days before I realised that it couldn't save pictures on net and couldn't share music. Now I took it back to vodacom for 15 days service. If you like loud music then don't dare buy it because its settings are very low. The highest level blast is embarassing. But BBM is lovely, whatsapp, twitter. & google maps are sweat. Camera is more like 2mp not 3.2mp

i bought vodaphone smart for mini late last month when i charge it its battery last for only 6 hours,so i want to no if the is a problem with my phone battery and when i try to delete a contact no from the directory it cant give me an option desperate help...........
