Collected mine from Rivonia last Friday and spent most of the weekend getting to know it. My first Tab. First impressions and after having had a few mates who have teh Galaxy Tab is that this is an absolute winner and in no way at all is anything less than than the Galaxy. Runs well, battery held up perfectly, resolution is terrific. This Tab will give Galaxy big competition if consumers can get over the Vodfone vs Galaxy branding. It rocks!

Yo to anyone who has this. I work at a vodacom shop South africa. We have a open box etc no live demo but where can u plug in a usb or hdmi in this the manual says nothing and the ad on youtube shows it does but how? As i am interested in buying etc but im more curious as we selling them but not as confudent as the sam 10.1

sms, mms, and gsm call are working on this tablet.Standby time, while fully operative(examp. when u watch movies one after another) is aprox. 7 hours.Charging time is around 4 hours.I have this tablet for 10 days now, and so far its working perfectly.Skype, web browser (i reccomend Dolphin), games ( tried PES 2012, nfs shift), everything works fine.cheers

"Tablet with no support for GSM voice communication, SMS, and MMS." - that is not true, i own one, and sms and mms can be sent as from any other regular phone.Im not sure about voice call since i use sim card which is GSM disabled, but im sure that thing will work also.Cheers

As a user of Vodafone Smart Tab 10.1 aka ZTE v11a, a small overview of the device, for those who have not bought, and have plans to buy it.
Smart tab design is beautiful, is not robust or heavy to carry (hold). It is all well blended.
Very good screen, with no exaggerated colors (normal), but notes that there is little response when bad touch, negligible.
Very good processor and gpu, faster, well proven in the games. The camera is worse, but what do expect from a 5mp.
User memory is 12GB, which is very commendable, it means not to care so much memory and at the beginning (which depends on the purpose of using it, ebook, movies, games, music ...)
Software itself is solid, but has a problem with the launcher, the other must be installed, and will work great.
Mkv video files open without problems, also flac music files.
If you look at its price and what the device offers fully pays to take the Vodafone Smart Tab.
I hope that Vodafone will update the software on the ICS.
Two thumbs up for this product and recommend it for a sweet shopping.
Not a single USB port and mini USB. Gets a small bag for him, charger, cable with which you can connect to your computer. Headphones, which are not great quality.
PS. device makes sense with the portable Internet, and there comes to the fore its use as a portable device

i`m one among many users of this tablet in Serbia,and we are hardly waiting for developers to take this device and do their stuff :)
Good screen,very good hardware inside,excellent price here in Serbia.
