Watch the Xiaomi Mega Launch 2021 event live here

Xiaomi introduced the Mi 11 smartphone in the final days of 2020, but the flagship lineup is a long way from being complete. Today we expect the rest of the family to be introduced at the event aptly dubbed mega launch, and scheduled to begin at 11:30 GMT.

The online event will be live-streamed on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Xiaomi’s own channels, and we’ve provided an embedded video for everyone to enjoy.

The global event is probably going to be the welcoming stage for the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra flagships, as well as the Mi 11 Lite in 4G and 5G configurations. We will also see a Mi 11 Pro and a foldable Mi Mix phone, but those are likely to remain China-exclusive for the near future.

Technology-wise, Xiaomi has already teased plenty of in-house projects on its social media. There were posters for a liquid lens, a custom chip and a new silicon-oxygen anode battery solution.
