Watch Xiaomi 12 Series Global Launch

Xiaomi’s flagship 12-series is ready to say “hello” to the rest of the world after launching in China at the end of 2021. You can watch the global launch event through the live stream below – it starts at 12 noon GMT.

We expect to see the core trio – the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro and 12X – and possibly a smattering of smart gadgets. We doubt that the rumored Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be unveiled today (or that mini model), so the triple 50MP cameras on the Pro model will be the best camera we see out of Xiaomi today.

As for the smart gadgets, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active will definitely be part of the launch, Xiaomi confirmed as much. This is a sporty version of the S1 watch from last year. Chances are that we will see other smart gadgets at today’s event, maybe some lower end phones too (the Redmi 10C seems ready to go).

PS. There is another Xiaomi event this week – the Redmi K50 reveal in China on March 17 (Thursday). Chances are that some of those will be rebranded as Poco F4 models for the global market (we know there is at least a Poco F4 and an F4 Pro in the works). Also on Thursday is Redmi 10’s launch in India.
