Week 15 in review: LG rebrands, Xiaomi 13 Ultra is coming
Another week down, here are the highlights. LG announced a new brand identity and look, dubbed LG Active Red. The company is going for a more "dynamic and youthful" look. It will continue to not make new phones, sadly.
It was a big week for Xiaomi 13 Ultra teasers. The phone is going official on April 18 and it will bring four rear cameras - the 1-inch IMX989, and three IMX858 (reportedly a 1/2.4-inch sensor) for the 3x, 5x, and ultrawide cameras. We also saw the Ultra in press renders, with a standout design with a centered camera lens-style module, and a contoured leather-bound rear.
Finally, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will reportedly start from CNY 6,299 ($916, converted) for the 8/256GB model, and top out at CNY 7,499 ($1,090, converted) for the 16/512GB model.
The Oppo Find X6 Pro was awarded the best cameraphone yet by DxOMark. We'll reserve our judgment for our review, coming soon.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy F54 is coming soon with a 6,000mAh battery and 25W charging. With certifications in place and support pages already up, the Galaxy F54 should be close to launch.
