Bought it 2022, I'm planning on giving this to my mom and buy a 15t pro.
the only reason i'm upgrading is the phone can't get new os updates and i want a phone with under the display fingerprint
used 120 w charger always and the phone still works like a charm. tho i'm a light user and barely play games [around 3 to 4 hours daily and atleast an hour of it is youtube at lowest brightness for falling sleep]. sticked to 120 hz and the battery still lasts me the entire day. i almost have no complains. fast and responsive. solid for social media browsing, watching youtube, looking at photos etc... run games well too but it'll heat up the phone quickly

I ge... moreYes, and remplace this battery its easy and cheap, Additionally, keep in mind that this model has a double battery (two 2500mAh batteries glued into a single body) so they have two connectors, a very common fault with this device is that one of the two connections comes loose, before changing your battery try to uncover it (which is not as difficult as it seems) and adjust the two connectors, it has worked wonderfully for me.

Hi. Has anyone replaced the battery on this phone yet? I get a severe frame drop after 15 minutes of playing games and after searching I found out that the problem could be the battery. The battery health is also at 60%.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2025After using the phone for 3 years with 120W charging almost... morethat's why i never use my 120w charger. 67w charger is sweet spot for me. and after 3 years, the battery still perform great. 1-2 times a day charging for normal daily use. 3 times charging when i use it for intense gaming.

After using the phone for 3 years with 120W charging almost every time while keeping it cool with 2 phone coolers, the battery is unstable. It will sit on 100% for a long time then slowly drop a couple %. After 90% it'll drain a bit quicker to about 50%. After 50% it'll drop almost 1% per second until it dies. Sometimes it'll randomly die when it says there's still 20% left.

Best cameras in the sub 250 euro segment, used to be the most powerful processor (beaten by 8300 and 8s Gen 3 at price point), great screen, sensors, audio.. the only trouble is the battery and the 888 chip can overheat randomly and thus drain the battery quicker.
If you do, make sure to immediately disable some hidden apps in settings starting with the name "meta services", they just eat ram and make the phone generate a ton of heat. They're useless btw.

I've had this phone for 3 years and, I can honestly say, had it not been for Xiaomi's buggy firmware, it would've been that generation's best smartphone

Using xiaomi 11T Pro for 2 years and 10 months.
Xiaomi 11T Pro just overheat within seconds when I ON 5g.(can't use torch) Now battery need a replacement I used 120w box charger and 33w xiaomi charger. Now The battery capacity came down, from 5000mah to 2000mah to 2400mha when fully charged.
The battery technology is good but in less then 3 years it need new battery otherwise by overheating, it will damage phone internals.

Hi all, for eveybody who says the battey is the main problem actually is tue but it is easy pedictable and evitable; Just chage you phone with slow chage 5v 1A and you battey will last forever;

Unfortunately, just after also having owned the phone for 2.5 years, the battery life with the high refresh rate is terrible. I haven't checked its screen-on time (SOT) yet, but it looks like it'll barely last 2.5-3 hours SOT off the charger from 100% to 30%. That makes me think there somehow is substance to the claim of high-wattage charging being deleterious for phone battery aging.

After 2.5 years and not even daily charging the battery is completely dead. Goes from 20% to 0% in minutes. And of course no way to find a genuine new replacement battery. Never buying this trash brand again.

The battery is the biggest problem in this device, I changed my battery spending 3k and now it is draining just like before in just 3-4 months of use and my warranty for the new battery was just 3 months and the battery started draining in no time in just after 4 months. In a just, this phone is good for nothing. I can't pay 3k again in just another 4 months of use.
