MyQuestion, 06 Jan 2022Will a 67w Xiaomi Charger work on Xiaomi 11T Pro? changing ... moreYes, you can use a lower capacity charger, it will say "Quick Charge", when using the 120W one with the original charging cable is will show "Charging Rapidly", it will top-up from 0 to 100% in approximately 20 minutes.

home120W, 06 Jan 2022 Xiaomi 11T Pro can be charched connected to PC or TV-box. ... more As long you use the original USB-C cable, you can use literally any other charger.
It doesn't matter what charger you use.
Only the cable is important, bcoz it may be not able to handle 6A*20V.

11, 04 Jan 2022You do realize xiaomi 108 MP camera sensor is made by Samsu... moresince 2019 Sony does 108MP sensors too, but it's true that Xiaomi uses Samsung.
In fact i am almost certain, that 11Tpro has exactly the same sensor, and pretty much the same camera settings as S20Ultra. Bcoz the pictures at night from S20Ultra and 11Tpro(P40pro included) are worse than from MiNote10 😅 But the video taken at night @4K, is quite good on the 11Tpro and beats the other 3 phones easily.
Don't get me wrong, when i bought the S20Ultra i thought since it's faster, it will take better pictures. Sadly, unlocking that phone with finger or face is very hard and pictures are comparable to MiNote10/11Tpro but only in daylight.
Sad truth is, that the MiNote10 i bought at the end of 2019 was the best buy ever. If not for the slight lag once a while and slightly worse video quality, no flagship could beat it.

krissy, 31 Dec 2021just few days ago i had a S20Ultra which i had since 8month... moreYou do realize xiaomi 108 MP camera sensor is made by Samsung...Samsung is only manufacturer who make 108mp sensor. Do not buy galaxy S series...it's over priced.
I recommend galalxy A series 👌
Xiaomi phones are cheap good but when it comes to warranty service...it's difficult to find repair shop.

Rami Hamza, 31 Dec 2021I need your professional opinion.. I currently own Realme G... moreI believe any of the phone that has the Snapdragon 888 or diemnsity 1200 is NOT a good replacement to your Note 20 ultra.
I recommend you buy a flagship phone with snapgradon 8 gen 1 or the dimensity 9000..
Main reason: There's not much of an upgrade between Note 20 ultra compared to 2020 phones.

A great phone actually, and one of the reasons I chose it is a 120 Hz display refresh rate. However, it seems to me it has the same issue as the Redmi Note 10 Pro which is called "screen flickering" at 120 Hz. Also, I read in some reviews that the screen module for 11T Pro is actually the same one that was used for Note 10 Pro.
The issue is the following:
1) You set 120 Hz display refresh rate
2) Open a static image, the issue is more clear when the image contains a lot of white
3) Observe flickering - image tone changes occasionally
The reason behind this flickering is that the display dynamically switches to 60 Hz, and brightness drops. Then back to 120 Hz - and brightness increases. And this is how the flickering appears.
It was discussed a lot for Redmi Note 10 Pro:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/p9qmjj/redmi_note_10_pro_flickering_issue_fixed/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/m4dh3u/xiaomi_redmi_note_10_pro_screen_flickers_at_120hz/
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/does-flickering-issue-exist-on-everyone.4250167/page-2
It is not clear whether this is a screen defect and it will be fixed with future updates.

Rami Hamza, 31 Dec 2021I need your professional opinion.. I currently own Realme G... morejust few days ago i had a S20Ultra which i had since 8months, and i hated it so much.
probs with S20Ultra:
- face /finger unlocking if the phone feels lucky, most of the time it didn't want to unlock at all;
- battery on battery saver did not last 2days;
- for a flagship phone the sound quality was too bad;
- pics from the 108MP camera became just as good as on the MiNote10, but after several updates and maybe 4months worth of updates, MiNote10 took awesome pics out of the box;
- after each update some apps crashed or started to work worse than before update;
After i went to the Samsung forum, i realized i don't even have that much problems as other users do.
Probs with 11Tpro? :
- usual bugs with settings, back in 2019 the MiNote10 had almost same problems, got solved within 1~2months, hope this time will be the same.
So the usual bugs are with the sound settings, can't set different ringtone than the preinstalled ones, but you can set a mp3 song if you use Music app, then it works for all contacts, or if you enter each contacts settings and set there a song or different songs as ringtone - then it works.
11Tpro has almost exactly same camera settings, but the interface is more user friendly.
The photo mode on MiNote10 takes pics with 20MP, but S20Ultra and 11Tpro with 9MP instead. An so for taking pics at night the MiNote10 was not so good in photo mode, but daylight pics are awesome.
11Tpro is faster than S20Ultra and the screen seems to be more response-friendly and accuracy seems to be better too.
So far on the battery saver mode, the battery does not drop 6% over one night while untouched - as was the case with S20Ultra.
Xiaomi is slowly reaching the Huawei standards, if they only fix some of the bugs in the settings, then Huawei will no longer be in the game, as the picture/video quality surpasses any Huawei that exists today.

Rami Hamza, 30 Dec 2021I am very interested in this phone , but my main concern is... morethe screen goes off if you hold the phone closer to your ear than 7cm or so. it goes on if you do not hold it close enough to your ear....or face i guess too.
I just tested it, it goes off automatically.
as for "also sometimes it go on by itself and you can accidentally press buttons.."
can't confirm, you have to unlock the phone first to be able to press anything.
So as long it's not unlocked, you cant do anything.
But if you put an unlocked phone into the pocket and play with the screen without seeing what you do....yea, that could happen.
In fact, i had such problem with Samsung S20Ultra, and then i had to turn some option that would disable such behavior.....but that did lead to locking me out of the phone for 20 or 30 seconds, bcoz each time it said that accidental touch has been discovered an i could not do anything.

I am very interested in this phone , but my main concern is the lack of proximity censor. I watched the reviews and some of them say that the screen will not go off during a phone call.
also sometimes it go on by itself and you can accidently press buttons..
how accurate is this ??

Switched from the filthy S20Ultra to 11Tpro....
and indeed, damn this thing charges fast, i was expecting a big charger too, but this is an overkill. How come it doesn't get hot?
Phone is very fast, unlocking as expected beats S20Ultra, altho even the MiNote10 did beat it too, but 11Tpro is even faster. Compared it with Huawei P40pro = can't tell the difference in unlocking speed 👌, except P40pro unlocks with face in complete darkness.
Considering this phone has been released some 2~3 months ago....
Things i found that i don't like:
- finger unlocking can skip screen lock, face ID can't, need update?
- 8K video recording limited to 6min at a time 😑
- MIUI update disabled some of the settings i did (had been the same in previous versions of MIUI which got fixed....back to square on with new phone?)
- 👎 photo mode does not take pics with some 20MP (16:9) resolution as it did on other phones with 108MP camera, but exactly same as S20Ultra with some ~9MP again at AR 16:9, there is a 3:4 AR option on both phones.
- again the casual bugs in settings that i know from previous Xiaomi phone 😑 but compare to S20Ultra - where after 8months of usage the apps still did crash.....yea Xiaomi does it better
- the silicone cover that came with the phone is almost impossible to put on
- no FTP transfer shortcut when i tap&hold on the Mi File Manager 😑
- no settings to choose slower charging?
Things i like:
- phone feels kind of light, altho the weight is that of S20Ultra or MiNote10, strange, it just sits better in the hand
- no curved screen ❤
- sound quality from the speakers seems to be much better than S20Ultra ❤ seems a little bit louder too, but i am not sure
- everything much alike the MiNote10, except there are those 'new' options in the settings 👌
- finger ID on the side is awesome, would like one on the back, but still quite nice

it is true that this phone is treated very well from Xiaomi and it's getting the updates very fast unlike the cheaper Redmi phones. Probably because it is expensive and the latest model from this year.
Plus they have updated the camera and the miui gallery even though nothing is mentioned in the change logs. No more over sharpened and over processed looking photos like it was at the beginning. The details and HDR is fantastic for the first time i am impressed by the camera. I used to be a heavy user of gcam but now it is a lot better when using the stock camera.
Everything works flawless and no issues so far including the battery life.
