Anonymous, 25 Feb 2023yet there hasnt been bugs only in the comments/reviews of s... moreWell mine has it, even it already had been factory reset, the crashes still occur, i also submit the logs and report and the respond it around 2 month later and offer me a beta test MIUI 14 but after that go silent.
Ps. My first xiaomi phone is redmi k20 pro and it never had any those problem.

As for me i have personal vendetta against Samsung and Apple for removing charging bricks.

Random stranger, 22 Feb 2023At least tell us why Samsung over xiaomi and use comparison... moreOkay fair enough. Samsung provides way better software support and experience compared to any Xiaomi, even entry level Samsung has way better software support than a flagship Xiaomi.
Xiaomi cares about hardware and numbers only, it's proven multiple times that you don't need the highest numbers on paper in order for your phone to work smooth & without issues. Those 2 are the main reasons and what's most important in a phone, Xiaomi might offer better specs on paper but in real life it's a totally different experience.

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2023bs info, miui is the best(in xiaomi phones)The MIUI is a buggy mess, i was using poco f3 as my main phone, everything is great until i updated the MIUI 12.5 to 13.0.0.5 which cause the phone to crash quite frequently like 2-4x a day. Let's hope the MIUI 14 isn't a buggy mess. I really like the MIUI costumisation but not the random crash at random intervals.

like it didn't register first tap when started text something, so you text _smarena, instead of gsmarena, Brave browser with just 5 opened pages froze for 3-4 sec before switching between pages, if i try to select and copy a part of a text from a page all of a sudden i don't see the current page anymore and the page is swapped with entirely different page, etc... i can go on for an hour. it was MIUI 12 global.
MIUI own apps are garbage as well. their "Notes" app has the bug of turning on underline function by itself, so you have to constantly tap it off or half of your note will end up with randomly underlined text, MIUI gallery app is unusable, setting alarms melodies in the "clock" app is pain in the ass and the app wants you to have an account for some reason, "messages" app crashed and froze while deleteing SMS, etc...
overall, i will never use a MIUI device ever again.
it just downright awful.
i assume higher end MIUI devices perhaps getting more attention and optimization from Xiaomi so they have less bugs and more smooth purely because of faster SoCs, otherwise i cannot understand how would anyone with enough self-respect put up with MIUI.

So i got MIUI 14 on this device today and nothing's changed. No new features.
I love this phone's design and how well it works with 0 issues but this is definitely the last Xiaomi i will ever own. I can't deal with such poor software experiences and no new features every single time since MIUI 11! It's always China & India that gets new features but screw Europe i guess.
