And the processor (SD 8 Gen 1) is a significant upgrade compared to the SD 888, ISP included. And for the first time since who knows when, they're finally using a new front camera sensor. The main sensor, IMX 707 will be slightly more reliable than the GN2 on the 11 Pro and Ultra albeit a tiny bit smaller.
Plus, the LTPO Display is going to bring massive improvements to the battery life. I'm pretty sure thermals are a lot better with this one too.

So the xiaomi 11 pro has +400mah, 5x optical instead of 2, better storage options, usb 3.1 instead of usb 2.0, ip68 vs no ip rating, 120w is kind of useless unless you want to kill your battery faster and the snap gen 1 has overheating issues (and its not like you really need an overkill cpu), yet the mi 11 pro sells right now for 549 euro while the 12 pro is probably going to retail for around 900 on Europe. Why should i care about this phone? They’re both getting MIUI 13 anyway. Waste of money and lack of innovation in my opinion.

I don't know GSMARENA do you forgot IP dust and waterproof protection or this 12 series doesn't have this feature.Summer is coming soon and I love to swim with my phone or take videos and photos Underwater.EEHHH

For me, the most important thing is only the quality of the PHOTO & VIDEO CAMERA, the durability of the BATTERIES, the quality of the SCREEN, the Dual SIM and not too crazy PRICE. As you can see from the manufacturers, I demand a little from you - just 5 things.
The battery endurance rating must be at least 105 hours (minimum I can tolerate).
Night shooting must reach Google Pixel 6 Pro & Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G standards. For me, the quality of both day and night photographs, including night sky photography, is very important. The macro shooting function (for insects, flowers and parts thereof) is also important.
The total cost of such a machine should not exceed - £900 (England) / €1,050 / $1,200 USD.
