Thinking about getting this over the Xiaomi 12Lite, which is smaller and lighter! Is this upgrade really worth the extra money?

Till today, no Offical (Non Beta) OS update..

video recording, 03 Dec 2023Poor that there is ZERO image stabilsation while recording ... moreReview says EIS is always enabled, cannot be disabled. Now who's right?

I have this phone for over a year now. I have accidentally dropped it about 3 times already and all at about 2 feet. Today i dropped it again for about a foot and a half (i was sitting facing the floor) and suddenly it has green lines just after a minute i picked it up.
Its my fault i know, but this is the first time ever in my life. I guess next time i have to buy cheaper phones as my secondary.

For processor choice, still Snapdragon chip is more preferred. For normal usage, Dimensity 8100 is fine though.

Poor that there is ZERO image stabilsation while recording in any resolution.

The experience is almost the same, where iPhone and Samsung have their own bugs too, unlike what masses fanboy all glorified about their iPhone and Samsung. The only thing good about these expensive flagship are they can have many updates to quickly fix the bugs, in the same time also create more bugs, and the camera is unparalleled, where these expensive smartphone almost take better photo in many situation. But with the pricing of 12T, I would say it is a good enough smartphone to go with that kind of budgets, I won't say MIUI is bugs free, but it doesn't annoy much as it is claimed to be until you want to throw away the phone. All in all, the budget king of course is Xiaomi 12T, iPhone 14 Pro Max is for those buying into Apple ecosystem, but nothing more. Samsung S22+ might be worth considering as it provide 4 years of Android version updates despite the processor is always getting hot. I would say I can settle down with Xiaomi 12T, I won't miss wireless charging, no need higher res screen (looks no different to me, and nobody use smartphone under huge sunlight), no need over serious photography.

today i was going to charge the 12T and didn't work and then i restarted the phone as per your suggestion and charging works again

                            * it's not an obvious thing that if phone doesn't charge you have to restart it *

or is it an early signal of damage or wear?

                            thanks again!!

Sorry, my phone was getting into water today. Just for 4-5 second. After i dried it and run out of battery, turns out 120w fast charging wont work. Anyone can help?

Martin, 09 Oct 2023Bullshit miui is rubbish nowadays, one ui is still the best... moreExcuse your mouth, iPhone is overpriced trash and only iSheep buy it, it's not even grounds for opinion anymore, they flopped with their 3nm processor too (as expected). The UI isn't that good either, the only thing they have going for them is the mediocre camera and animations. If you're a Disney fan go for it.

Miui is almost flawless nowadays. 12T is a perfect example. There are NO bugs. Even the ones I mentioned are now fixed. Xiaomi pushed Android 14 before any other company too and it has ZERO bugs.

Samsung has always had crap battery and overheating except for the S23 series. The A52s I had was fine overall but it heated like hot trash and gave me 4h SOT without gaming. You can't deny that, exotrash fan. S22 has either Exynos or Gen 1, both notorious for horrible heating and lower tier battery... Go figure.

Regarding one's personal choice, it is subjective. It seems so much less reason to go for more expensive brand nowadays as lower priced smartphones are getting so much better.
