saber, 30 Sep 2023what about phone getting too hot after a while of use? It doesn't get hot. Apparently the cooking 12 (not the X) does. No pun intended

Mollisol, 01 May 2023Enjoying my Oppo Find X5 now glad I made the right choice. Xiaomi phone (snapdragon variant) are for modders. Oppo for the elderly.
But in the end of the day, a phone which can be can will always perform better than a phone which can't.
You just need to put in some effort and Xiaomi phone Andriod life can be extended.

xiaomi 12X or A54 for a similar price ?
I don't like MIUI at all, even ONEUI not absolutely great
I wonder the curved screen of the 12X, I don't see anything good about that.
I love the 12X' shape a lot, lighter, less bezels, more comfy.
I prefer better battery life over CPU power, I don't game.
Same main cam, selfie on 12X seems dull and even quite bad though
12X is older, it doesn't matterr. I don't need updates

Been using this 12X for a while
Speaker loud, clear, good for call. Nothing special with the harman/kardon, it just loud. Battery is really good, I used 4G most of the time, it lasted a whole day from 7 am to 5 pm, onscreen about 7-8h. Game is decent, pubg work fine no lag. Main is good, photos are sharp, color is a bit to light for my taste but still ok, wide angle camera is ok, it really noise when you take photos with low light.
Phone is really lightweight, fit in hands, great for one handed use.
Overall 9/10 for me.
