Sot 3 hours, nonstop wifi, 120x unlock, web browsing, some photos, whatsapp ..

Now 22:30 54%

So 1 day normal using and half of battery still left...

I don't understand why do you put so much effort in boosting up Xiaomi to make it look better than it actually is. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is a very good phone but it doesn't play on the best flagship league. Period. Everyone knows that.

racerx67, 27 Mar 2023So you talk about the Xiaomi being a worse camera than any ... moreThat's the problem, MIUI ISP is so bad that you need to use pro mode to take the real potential of the 1" sensor but phones are meant to take it out of your pocket and do fast pics, if we stick to pro and manual then you can buy a 300$ camera which will wipe the floor with any smartphone camera.

The problem of this Xiaomi 13 Pro (well, the other sensors except for the main one are really lame) is that the original software is not good, we have to wait for a good GCam or use pro mode but it's not comfy to always use manual pro mode on a mobile phone. Even a 300$ Pixel 6A takes better auto pics than the Xiaomi 13 Pro and that's kind of ridiculous. Of course with pro mode the Pixel 6A is much worse.

Now thats fine if you use the phone as a point and shoot camera and not change anything. But if you use the pro mode and change settings to be creative and not just use computational photos the game changes. None of the reviews go into that side with any of the current phones and it is where many fall flat. Apple phones do not allow you to change outside of any pre-sets they want you to use. Some may allow you to change settings but they then show their limitations and phones like the Xiaomi start to make sense. One review said the Xiaomi 13 Pro is no better than the Mi 11 Ultra. To be honest that is not much of a problem as the changes are incremental and the Xiaomi 12 S ultra was just a re-packaged MI 11 Ultra to be honest. We are now looking at incremental changes as the new 1 inch sensors are the latest "big jump" ( the MI 11 Ultra was almost 1 inch so for Xiaomi it is also incremental) in most phones.

So instead of slating the Xaiomi 13 Pro for some reviews that use the point and shoot side as their main focus go look for images that use the camera as a proper camera and exploit what it's real potential if you want to use it to the full.

Leaking Oil, 26 Mar 2023As a Xiaomi 13 Pro user for about 3 weeks now, The battery ... moreI've made a comparison between both S23 Ultra and 13 Pro and the Samsung is by far the winner in pretty much everything like main camera, high dynamic range, color accuracy or night photos. Also better results in low light UW camera despite having an inferior sensor and miles ahead in zoom, video or selfie for both photos and videos. I can post my own YT channel and you can see the IRL comparison.

The only thing slightly better in the Xiaomi is 3x portrait yet the zoom itself is worse for photos as it has no OIS and it also lacks a proper flagship zoom (at least 5x or above) while the S23 Ultra has a optical 10x OIS sensor. Dude no single phone comes close to a DSLR that's first, and second "Leica Authentic Mode" is just what Samsung Expert RAW is but with less options. Again, I have had both. Professional sites like Dxomark or GSM agree in every single point I've said. Yet fanboys say "Dxomark is not reliable anymore" because this Xiaomi 13 Pro ranks 17th and they don't even think it's a well deserved rank for the many amount of gaps it has, they just think lets blame that site because it ranks far from the best. Like if it was Dxo's fault because of what Xiaomi has made.

And also in overall as a phone, this Xiaomi 13 Pro is even worse compared to Samsung S23 Ultra, it has worse screen, worse audio, worse cameras, worse software, worse build quality and so on... And much worse battery as well, just as you've admitted you only get 3-4 SoT hours while when I've compared them, the S23 Ultra gave me 8-9 SoT hours. I have had both unlike some fanboys praising this phone just for their love to Xiaomi, like that X5u guy which is writing from a Redmi.

Because doing this for free in a public site is way beyond ridiculous.

At the moment you trash out other brands, especially Huawei and Honor, saying Xiaomi is superior in camera, and even more when with that laugheable selfie camera you say "it's the best, maybe only Pixel is comparable" dude... You only talk senseless BS so if you think this phone is the best and that makes you sleep better at night then be my guest.

Exactly because I have seen comparisons, reviews (such as the one on GSMArena) expert opinions and I have had this Xiaomi 13 Pro for myself, I can relate to what most people comments. You're always the voice of the opposition, saying senseless BS as you only defend this 13 Pro for the sake of love you have for the brand, as you don't even have this phone.

Xiaomi is really doing great nowdays. Ia can't wait to see what Xiaomi 13 Ultra will come with. Now I'm using Samsung S22 Ultra but Xiaomi may be my next phone, though still they have to learn from Samsung.

Your Reality Dose, 26 Mar 2023Xiaomi 13 Pro best camera for photography hahahahaha X5u ar... moreU're actually making a fool of urself without even knowing go ask anyone and u'll see vivo might give a fight to Xiaomi at night but it's always comes to preference at the end on the other hand Samsung and even mentioning honour made me laugh thanks for that early morning comedy, honor is no where near xiaomi no smartphone comes close except vivo so get that even selfie photos from Xiaomi 13 pro is second only to pixel 7 pro it's not a new thing that pixels have the best selfie only letdown is the video which I personally don't care about better start watching real reviews not ur biased reviews it's just a friendly advice

However the camera is WAAAAAY better than Samsung's gimmicky 200mp.
Yes, the samsung makes more "bombastic" and "pleasurable" shots to your average person, but the Xiaomi 13 Pro (in leica authentic) makes pro grade photos that look very DSLR like. It's more mature and professional than the S23 Ultra.
The Ultra has a better ultrawide but the zoom is a different story.
While the Ultra's 3x is more for zooming, the 3X on the xiaomi is more for close ups and portraits. Also to note, In authentic mode the shutter speed is amazing, I was able to capture speeding cars by just spamming the shutter button while the S23 Ultra was struggling a little. Leica Authentic does a lot less to process the photos, making them better to work with and just overall more realistic.
Same goes with night mode, since the super large sensor on the 13 Pro, it captures more details and a lot faster. In pitch dark, my 13 Pro took the photo in like 2 sec while my friends S23 Ultra needed 10 seconds to focus and take the photo. While the S23 Ultra was brighter it was a MESS. The details were unexistent and the noise reduction went wild.

Btw samsung puts more software limitations on their devices so they run slower and don't overheat.

I have the Xiaomi 13 Pro and with regular usage, I get about 3-4 hours of SOT.
Yeah, the battery life is bad but at least it charges really fast.
The camera is amazing too, same with the screen.
The under display fingerprint is meh, it takes a lot of pressure for it to read the finger reliably

There are literally dozens of comparisons / reviews out there, including a GSMArena one, the Xiaomi 13 Pro not only is not the best, it's actually far from the best and it doesn't win in any single comparison. Even compared to 2022 phones like Vivo X90 Pro+ or Huawei Mate 50 Pro it's still way too far from them. Even in Dxomark ranks 17th and even if you cry saying "it's not reliable" just look at the images compared with other phones, it really shows it's inferior.

And also in overall as a phone, this Xiaomi 13 Pro is even more far from the best. Compared to Samsung S23 Ultra, it has worse screen, worse audio, worse cameras, worse software, worse build quality and so on... And I have had both unlike some fanboys like you praising this phone just for their love to Xiaomi. And the battery SoT kinda sucks as well, almost 20h less in endurance rating compared to S23 Ultra. You praise fast charge but do you have wall sockets and you always carry on your charger? Eitherwise it's better to have a certainly better battery performance, which this 13 Pro really lacks.

But if you like to lie to yourself and to fulfill your buyers remorse (although I am 100% sure you defend Xiaomi from an old 150€ Redmi) then be my guest and live in your parallel reality yet this Xiaomi is far from the best phones for photography and the overall camera setup is just lame compared to a S23 Ultra or a Huawei Mate 50 Pro (despite charging for it 1.400€ in Europe) but if your argument to defend the trash MIUI is, their awful ISP that underperforms the 1" sensor or the 32mpx 1080/30 selfie typical for a 200€ midrange phone is to say "BuT iT CoMeS WiTh A cHaRGeR" sure bud, be my guest.

Btw what for u need anoher android version. Im ok with 13, no need any upgrades. Phone work perfect .

Only 3 android version ll be supported. Battery is short for 1 day but charge 50% in 10 minutes 100% in 30 min.has last CPU snapdragon gen. I don't test usb c connector but protocol is 2.0 ...no Dex mode.. high end photophone with usb c should support thunderbolt protocol !!!

Display is just amazing, night, sun .. work very good in every situation, colors are accurate, auto brightness is ok, "eye protection" is perfect (no eye pain after longer using at night like with my previous Note 10 amoled (im not using night mode and my eyes feel fine), everything is absolutly smooth, u can do what u want with phone. Battery life with normal using like some calls, some photos, some webrowsing etc .. 2 days. Primary camera is really good, nice colors, not oversharpened like some other phones, Leica Authentic is fine i prefer natural colors, not oversaturated unreal crap, not overbright like some other phones. Portrait cam is very good too.. System is without bloatware (most of them u can remove), no commercials, simple, easy UI. This phone just work, very balanced complete phone. Im so happy, best phone i ever had. Some years ago i was very happy with my LG G6, but this is even better. I cant find negative on this phone. Calls quality is very good too, wifi signal same. Im so happy i brought this phone, really im.

Like gsmarena said.. its really easy to love this phone.

Btw im using Nillkin camshield pro or Xia 13 Pro. Recommending, u can hide cams island. Good grip, u can control phone with one hand.
