Enjoyed your long term review. As always I am interested in heat stability (throttling) but it is not in this LT review. 13 Pro is on my shortlist. Hope Xiaomi will not get embroiled in some political or trade issues. (Hear economy is tanking in China.)

Does it have a setting that would limit charging to, say, 85%? That it would stop charging when that is reached.
This is important because the fast charging will degrade battery as well.

I think on global ROM it shouldn't have ads but on Chinese ROM, you can still turn it off. The setting is kind of hidden away (iirc, in Xiaomi account settings rather than phone settings), but if you want to turn it off, you can.

Only that way you can experience the full fledged MIUI (it's based on Chinese ROM) with 0 ads and even more features than any of the official ROM.

I just switched from my Mi 9 and even that Mi 9 is still working just fine, only the storage is not enough for me anymore (I take photos and videos often, 64GB is too little in 2023). See for yourself when Mi 9 was released.

Both wifi and mobile network signal are still high even inside my bathroom where my previous phone usually lost the wifi signal due to 5GHz narrower range, but somehow this phone can still capture it just fine.

As long as you don't update software that comes with the box. You'll be fine using Xiaomi 😉
