A camera chip can't have an increased price margin that high.
Moreover the CN version and EU version have the same hardware is the same....so is not about the quality and choice of the components.

Well it's bcuz it's too expensive coupled with the fast charging tech and other expenses. I think ure being unfair saying this be priced lower than apple or Samsung just bcuz they're bigger brand or non Chinese

Is a shame that Xiaomi had gone this expensive and despite being a huge Xiaomi fan this has become a joke. They have joined Apple's game on the price strategy and increasing +/- 200$ each new year. It seems all these vendors have an agreement.
I understand the mobile market is high profit now, however a mobile phone is never more costful than a professional laptop.
Practically speaking even if you can afford the phone it doesn't make sense to make that investment that eventually it will become laggy through a strategic update once the successor is launched in February.

Connection to my Xiaomi bud 3 pro was almost instant, faster than the time I removed the buds and insert into my ears. Haven't had problem with connecting to bluetooth printer as well.
Apps crashes, yes, but rarely, most often than not it is due to the app itself.
Battery life has been great, never had to charge mid day on normal daily usage, only had to top up when I am constantly using it under heavy usage.
Security app do prompt , but definitely not multiple times a day, more like 2-3 times per week. And it can definitely be disabled via app info.

Just got euro version of the phone. Pretty nice so far, camera is good (was a bit concerned from all the hate it was getting, but it's nice). Selfie cam is pretty bad but doesn't matter to me. 5g works out of the box in the Middle east (some phones don't even if they support the bands).
Weird thing is it doesn't have esim, even though the other versions of Xiaomi 13 do. Don't get how Xiaomi can drop this.
