Things do change and I wanted to give it a chance again due to the many software updates since. So, i thought it may have improved?
If i can get my head around (again) about those ultra fragile glass body and slow battery charging (over an hour with a "fast" charger) then I'm willing to give it another go.
Or would you rather get something else with a similar ( or smaller) size and price range?

The phone is taller, wider and heavier than the previous model.
Exynos chips are the worse when it comes to thermals, battery life and performance.
And there are others that are better value + somewhat better specs for the same price"

Remember when you said this? 🤦

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2024Do itThe A55 seems a bit smaller in dimensions than the A35. So, im seriously considering that as well. Ultimately my ideal Samsung phone right now is the S23+. Almost perfect size for me.

I'm planning to get the new Galaxy A35. Yes i'm sacrificing fast charging and slower chipset but i'll be gaining faster software support.

It's just what happens with fast chargers. The battery has probably 40-60% of its original capacity left at this point. You can easily get batteries for Xiaomi, it just depends if you want to go through that. If you like the phone it will be worth it. Otherwise sell it.

I've been using my old Realme 7 Pro 67w fast charger on my 13T. Please tell me if that is compatible or not? Is it safe to use that? I don't normally use the included charger in the box unless I have to.
I wanted to return the item to the seller but he was just moaning and spewing monologues on me. To be fair the condition i thought was 100% of what he described and the delivery was fast. I just told myself let me just sell it on eBay and earn even if its a wee bit.

I have it since release but only used an 18W charger, not the included 67W one. The person you bought it from probably used the included charger, meaning a new battery is needed already.

I strongly believe the chipset and the OS are both to blame - the chipset is not fully optimized exacerbated by slow updates. And Hyper OS is almost similar to MIUI in the sense it's full of bloatware which remains a burden on the memory load which in turn affects the battery.
                                  Would you agree?

That for me means the chipset is not fully optimized with the battery exacerbated with slow software updates. Would you agree?
