Leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 14T Pro will be a rebranded Redmi K70 Ultra.

I have a feeling that the regular Xiaomi 14T will basically be a souped-up Poco X6 Pro with IP68, better build quality, brighter display, better cameras, slightly bigger battery, and faster charging.

It's incredibly barebones and nearly impossible to enjoy.

For those of you reading this, this phone is still an amazing purchase in 2024. The 144Hz OLED and the 67W charging are a big deal.
Plus, it still has until Android 17!
Although, the Chipset and UFS version does make me worry a bit, I believe it can chew through anything, just like the X3 pro did.
                      Thanks!

Gino76ph, 18 Aug 2024My 13T is currently on Hyper OS 1.0.11.0 and all first-part... moreI don't know how long you've used the 13T. Allow the battery to optimise for about a week or so.
It'll adjust itself after a while. HyperOS adapts to your battery usage.

My 13T is currently on Hyper OS 1.0.11.0 and all first-party apps are up to date. I still find myself "wanting" for more battery life.
Just to put things in context: I work 9-5 (phone connected to wifi @ home and 4G a@ work - both of which have excellent reception), I do not game, I do not stream, I'm not a vlogger or a content creator.
I charge my battery by 6am to 100% and i put my device on battery saving mode. I get just over 4 hours of SOT, the phone drains 1% per 15 minutes and I still have around 30% battery by 7pm.
I've only turned on notifications if i have to, no background apps running and permissions are set to limited especially with Location.
Apart from the other typical battery saving tips known online is there anything else I need to do to save on battery life and increase the performance slightly? (Note: I'm aware of the Developer Options to speed up the animations).

But i feel that I may loose an important feature of Hyper OS that may not be (or maybe?) present in Lawnchair and that is...the ability to hide apps.

It's a really solid launcher that mimics the default Pixel launcher, but is only available as an APK download and cannot be found on the Play Store.

                                      2. No, you're stuck with swipe right for misc functions (Google Home, Mi Home, Flashlight) and swipe left for camera.

                                      5. Yes, but this needs to be done per-app via their own settings. Look out for toggles like "Show ads", "Personalized recommendations", "Receive recommendations", etc. and disable them. For apps you don't want to use, highlight an app on the home screen, go to App info and disable notifications.
