It looks like the best high end camera-phone to buy right now but below average battery life and too many reports about rear camera lens fogging issue stops me.

    Just pick one whenever you know clearly what you are looking for.
    Blackfriday or whatever the discount they say, but if you don't spend money, it's cheaper :)

Shure, X Elite is a bit powerfull but OnePlus cas much worse camera, smaller sensors etc. Xiaomi 14 Ultra is the better choice for an Ultra phone being a real ultra. If you don't care about the camera , OnePlus may be a good choice too.

          Abyssal, 09 Nov 2024Should I wait for Oneplus 13 global release or get the Xiao... moreBoth are great ,but for me I would wait for the oneplus 13 because it has a far bigger battery,ultrasonic fingerprint scanner,and a much brighter screen .Also ,i don't think I will be able to contend with the huge protruding camera bump on the Xiaomi.But i assume the Xiaomi should have the more capable camera system

            I've now had to return two devices for fogging issues, both manufactured 2024-05. Not really the best first impression of Chinese devices to say the least.

                  The 200MP camera is meant for the periscope zoom, not for the main sensor. It still will be 1" Sony sensor. The UW camera will be Samsung JN5 as this 200MP sensor is Samsung's HP series too. As i do not like Samsung's sensors i still prefer the 5x 50MP IMX858 sensors in 14 Ultra as they are Sony-only, as well as the main sensor. No need of Samsung's cheap crap.

                    According to reviewers Xiaomi 14 Ultra got APTX Lossless in an update.
                    You should update the specs.

                      babak, 14 Oct 2024no one use a cellphone more than 4 years nowadays and 4 upg... morea lot of people hold on to their smartphones for many years,I'm still using my Sony XZ Premium from 2017 and it works perfectly fine still. That's 7 years and counting!
