Many people are sticking with their cell phones for more than 4 years. My colleagues at work recently changed from iphone 7(last month). My friend still uses xiaomi redmi note 7 and so on.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2024My question is for the people who have this phone and using... moreI don't use the Xioami 14 ultra but I use the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G, which also have a curved display. To answer your question, while using the phone I didn't have the problem any touch issues due to the curved display. However I admit the "back gesture" when using the gesture navigation mode will be harder as you have to reach the curved border, but this seem to work 90% of the time.
Xioami have added how sensitive the curved side of the display can be in the settings app (You can change the sensistivity the settings app)

My question is for the people who have this phone and using it for some time.
I personally don't like curved screen. For this reason in the past I have used their K series which have flat display. I know this have micro curve. But like its other features very much so I am thinking of getting the upcoming 15 ultra which rumor has will once again have micro curve display.
My question is how the display actually? Does it have any accidental touches? Is finding a good screen protector is hard for this type of display? Is the curve aggressive or just very little?
I watched many video and pictures but from them could not tell how curved the display is. Unfortunately no xiaomi shop here so cant go check myself. Will have to ship from overseas.

Smartphone game is not about the chipset anymore, people want long lasting battery, Many Major Updates, More features, Camera, and of course durability. Brand like xiaomi needs to learn how to adjust based on consumer needs
