On the XDA forum in the S23U subforum, a topic related to major camera updates you can find my post with a comparison between Xiaomi and Samsung. Still, GCAM is better than vanilla Xiaomi 14 Ultra in most cases, but did not find a single situation when the S23U is better than Xiaomi when you rule out GCAM from the equation. So I think, can there be some differences in software between countries? Maybe quality difference between units and sensors? For me, Xiaomi e.g. in tiny details is always better, because Samsung either removes details with noise reduction or oversharpens it as crazy.
But maybe in very long zoom yes, you can be right. I do not use more than 5x. From what I use:
- ultrawide is wider on Xiaomi, but a bit more detailed and cleaner on Samsung,
- main is far better on Xiaomi, and that nice bokeh,
- 3x - so much better on Xiaomi, the worse the light, the bigger the gap is. And again, there is so much better separation of subject and background because of the wider aperture of the lens.
- 5x - so good, I prefer that over x10.
And yes, the battery is not that great.
I would like to test Oppo Find x7 Ultra, but it is not available in my country. :(

No eSIM on this huge price and level of a phone is a big fat oof wow.
Also, what an insane price! Xiaomi, you're supposed to beat the rest with your prices. HyperOS isn't nearly good enough, it is a renamed MIUI only.

I have both 14 ultra and S 24. I find both phone cameras are awesome. However the pics from ultra 14 Xiaomi is slightly better.

I am swi... moreI find it's the opposite. i have a s23 ultra and recently 14 ultra and the s23 ultra beats the 14 ultra camera in day light pics spec in zoom. Only time the 24 ultra wins and not every time is low light night shots. The battery isn't great either barely if a day use and it's just doesn't give off a top phone experience. Thinking of returning it for the vivo x100 pro

The phone is really nice, but you have to play around in the menus to set up everything on it's best. One example is the resolution, it is not set on WQHD+ out of the box ( it is set to FHD+ 2400x1080 ) Battery charging can be enhanced in the menu as well under battery/ additional features/ boost charging speed. And many more.
I recently bought the phone, that is how I know those things :)

It is literally written in the GSMArena Spec sheet in the battery section of this 14 Ultra phone. The international version has only 5000mah battery whereas the CN version is 5300mah.
