These huge round camera designs are just so ugly imo

    Slowly Xiaomi seems to go the same path as Huawei did in the past. They lock bootloaders, slowly increase prices every generation at every price point(just look how expensive Poco line is these days), remove SD cards and 3.5mm even from their budget models. I really don't like where Xiaomi is going.

        The 13 Ultra is one of GSMA's best rated phones, so here's hoping the 14 Ultra reaches the same heights. I'm already thinking of buying the white model.

            they samsung'ed it. 14 ultra is just a slightly tweaked version of the 13 ultra just like how samsung did the 24 series..... i have not bought a xiaomi phone since the 10 series since those are the 25/27mp 8K30 days... with better video an more detailed photo's for half what they cost now ........ its a shame

                        1500??

                          I find it very difficult to justify 1.5k for a phone with these specs. If a good phone camera is your aim, you can get the last year's Find X6 Pro which has a better camera setup (all lenses), a more stable cpu which will not fail you for years to come, great battery life and charging speeds; and, above all, will cost less than this.

Everyone knows that an ILC camera will outperform a smartphone's camera, but people just want to have an amazing camera, while it also doubles as their phone. Buying a dedicated ILC and a lens and learning the settings and all that isn't attractive to the average buyer, especially since for the average buyer, an ILC, even the entry level ones, look professional for them and simply don't need that much equipment. People who want to step up and take filmmaking/photography seriously and dedicate some time into it, then yeah, they should buy an ILC. But the average buyer doesn't because they're in the market of a great performing camera smartphone, not the ILC market.

                              Please guys repost these because you will help others to understand that buying every upcoming expensive phone will never replace a real camera. It's better to buy a real camera to shoot excellent videos, even full hd of real camera much better than tiny sensor of mobile phones.
                              If anybody wants to buy a mobile phone for a video must understand that none of mobile phones can replace mirorless cameras! As soon as you guys understand that phones can't replace a mirorless camera you won't spend money for every upcoming new phone. For instance, for this price range one can buy at least APSC camera or Full frame camera body. Then you will see that even 1080p of Full Frame is much clearer than 4k 60fps of mobile phones

                                Why do you want a screen type that was purely desiged to be cheap? They were made to fight the issue CRT screens had, nothing more, they arent good vs OLED so again what a seriously confusing choice.

                                The phone will have stereo even if, worst case, its a hybrid set up. Xiaomi is one company that DOES still provide an IR blaster (yet barely anyone wants it in their phones).
