Jack, 01 Dec 2024Hello everyone, i'm interested in this phone but i... moreMy Xiaomi 10T is already 4 years old and I have no problem with it. It's still efficient.
I'll definitely upgrade to 14T in a matter of days.

Vqb, 05 Dec 2024This one or the V40 with snap 7 gen 3 is "better".
Vivo V40 has better ultrawide and selfie cameras, and better battery life.
Xiaomi 14T has flat display, faster CPU, more base RAM, faster UFS 4.0 storage, telephoto camera, infrared blaster, and longer updates.
I would personally pick the 14T as it is the more balanced option for most tasks including photography and gaming.

Gino76ph, 02 Dec 2024I usually work Mon - Fri, I don't game, I don't ... moreWell, modern-day lithium batteries are designed to stop charging once they reach 100%, so you don't have to worry much about degradation.
But it's still advised to not leave your phone charging overnight for fear of electricity failures that might potentially damage your phone.

If i can charge a phone fast in the morning for those emergency situations that the battery is 10% or less then that will be awesome. Saying that i typically go to sleep by 11pm regardless of how many battery is left and charge my phone overnight till i wake up at 6am and immediately remove the charger after that. My only concern is the battery might degrade in time if i keep charging it overnight?

Gino76ph, 01 Dec 2024If i can get the Pixel 8a a lot cheaper than the Pixel 8 th... moreAccording to GSMArena's review, the Pixel 8a takes 1 hour to charge from 0% to 60%, and 2 hours to charge from 0% to 100%.
So if say, your battery is at 25%, you can probably reach the 80% mark in about 1 hour.
I think you'll be fine with the 8a's slow charging as long as you can wake up a bit earlier to charge it.

But, how about that slow charging?
If i wake up one morning finding out i only have less than 30% and I only have just over an hour before i leave the house and I have a "fast" 30w charger will the time be enough for the battery to reach at least around 80-90% that morning?

Hello everyone, i'm interested in this phone but i'm affraid of it's long term performance, i had before a xiaomi phone that within a year was unusable because of the lag and the bugs so i never came back, it was a long time ago and i have to assume Xiaomi has improved.

If you're willing to spend $650, go with the Pixel 9. Otherwise, get the Pixel 8.
