OK, so this or the Pixel 8 Pro?

I wonder when android phone manufacturers(apart from Samsung) will start prioritizing usb 3.2 on their phone ports, imagine having ufs 4.0 on your phone which has high read and write speeds close to an ssd but you can only copy files through your usb port at slow usb 2.0 speed in 2024. You removed the option for an sd card, at least let me be able to backup my files externally with fast speed.

Using 11T and was so tired of getting screen on while calling and Screen off during Whatsapp voice messages. And what more I just ordered this 14t today.
Why are they using a virtual one on this one too! Sad

I checked the proximity when it has a flashing light purple glow on the top bezel, but it was missing, so I downloaded a hardware info app and checked the proximity sensor it used, and I found out it's the same virtual one from their previous phones

But I just bought a used Pixel 8. It charges 2% every 2 minutes but also drains 1% per two minutes just by doing simple tasks such as downloading apps, watching Youtube tech and news channels, listening to 2-3 podcasts (of around 45-60 minutes each), going to my socials, checking my emails, MS Teams, writing notes, etc. No gaming, no streaming, no vlogging, no memory intensive tasks.
I charge my Pixel up to 90% each day. With my first 48 hours doing those tasks my battery could drain to 50% past 3pm and could still have some juice by 9pm of under 30%.
Does those sound good to you? Or not?

Vqb, 05 Dec 2024This one or the V40 with snap 7 gen 3 is "better". Vivo V40 has better ultrawide and selfie cameras, and better battery life.

Xiaomi 14T has flat display, faster CPU, more base RAM, faster UFS 4.0 storage, telephoto camera, infrared blaster, and longer updates.

I would personally pick the 14T as it is the more balanced option for most tasks including photography and gaming.

But it's still advised to not leave your phone charging overnight for fear of electricity failures that might potentially damage your phone.

If i can charge a phone fast in the morning for those emergency situations that the battery is 10% or less then that will be awesome. Saying that i typically go to sleep by 11pm regardless of how many battery is left and charge my phone overnight till i wake up at 6am and immediately remove the charger after that. My only concern is the battery might degrade in time if i keep charging it overnight?

So if say, your battery is at 25%, you can probably reach the 80% mark in about 1 hour.

I think you'll be fine with the 8a's slow charging as long as you can wake up a bit earlier to charge it.

If i wake up one morning finding out i only have less than 30% and I only have just over an hour before i leave the house and I have a "fast" 30w charger will the time be enough for the battery to reach at least around 80-90% that morning?
