Among them all, only 2 died due to faulty battery, Mi Max 3 and Mi 4c. And that's cause I simply left them in my collection drawer for 3 years @30+ degrees Celsius without charging.
For some weird reason, all 3 of my old Mi Maxs survived lol.

Better to avoid Xiaomi products specifically mobiles. Before their phones were excellent but now really terrible. I don't recommend anyone to go for this after having very bad experience with Xiaomi brands. Specially after having new updates their phones are sucks.

Just replaced my 6 year old samsung with this. This is my first xiaomi because I just found out samsung now decides to not give charger with that absurd price. S25 ultra is half more expensive compared to xiaomi 15 ultra, wtf with that price lol.
Many people said hyperos suck but found no problem after using it for 1 week. The name is os but it's just android skin, no big difference like windows vs linux. I can even use third party launcher that people said unusable in hyperos.
The only true thing is the ads. There are ads in the form of notification from the built in apps. Turning off the show ads and recommendation in settings does nothing, the ads keep appearing. The fix is simple, turn off data and notification for those apps. Apps like themes and file manager does not need notification so it doesn't pose problem.
With only 1 negative I would say this phone is really worth the price. The camera app are really good, manual photo setting is available.

I don't care about the looks but just want to know which of the three colors to choose from (globally) is the most robust one? Any recommondation for a good protective case? I am a rock climber and alpinist and my gear needs to withstand a fair amount of abuse...

Sooo you suggest the chinese version over the globa... moreNo problems whatsoever. Signal, Threema, Whatsapp etc. all notifications delivered immediately and no blank messages or whatever. It works 100% perfectly.
Yes I recommend the Chinese one. The battery is massive. If I charge to 100% and then go to sleep for 8 hours. Waking up it is still 96-97%. It drains nothing. However, I don't play games or do any other stuff like that on my phone. Only taking photos and such.

Please HELP! Three questions, maybe you've sorted that out and you may give me some advice (or else just hope it's gonna be sorted out with an update):
1) I use swipe to write text. Now, in the text box (in messages), if I write a word with swipe, with a beginning letter from the edge of the screen (e.g. a word starting with "p"), it is interpreted as "back" and it always bloody takes me out of the text box. Tried with different sizes of edge ignore area, but it's the same. There should be an area next to the text box messages where the edge should be rendered inactive. Any workaround or should I just wait for an update?
2) Any way of seeing "only contacts with numbers" in the Phone app (or Contacts/Phonebook, I don't know the stock app's name in English). I could choose that before in my old phone, I just can't see it anymore.
3) There's this damn "Workspace" folder that I can't delete, but I've never ever had a Google workspace account. How can I delete or disable it? There's no option either in my Google account or in settings, as far as I've seen.
