Thank you for your time.

I bought it in Romania (it's somewhere in Eastern Europe :)) ) from the network operator Digi for 1200 eur, with 620 eur in advance and the rest in 12 monthly payments, which was great to me.
Overall, it's amazing. Switching from Samsung to Xiaomi, I noticed huge improvements in camera performance. Maybe the user experience could be slightly improved, but there are no major issues. I had to uninstall or disable some of the Mi apps (Music, Video, Browser a.s.o.), with annoying notifications. The Office (Outlook, Teams, others) and financial/banking apps are working great and the battery performance (5410 mAh) is really good, about 1.5 days typical use.
Thank you Xiaomi for sending this beast to Europe! :)

I am using the Chinese one after 20 days here are my observations.
Phone is 95% flawless, literally zero complaints whatsoever. Definitely feels and performs like the world's best phone. Just a couple of small bugs and things to iron out but otherwise it's fantastic. I will just list the tiny, tiny gripes I have with this phone most of which I fixed on my own.
1. Changing the DPI causes the fingerprint icon when unlocking apps to be displayed over text. It didn't happen before but after updating to the new OTA this week it started happening. I am using a custom DPI though so I can really only blame myself for this.
2. Google Wallet works even with Chinese variant but I had to dig through the settings to change the default wallet API from Mi Wallet to Google. Before this all payment terminals were saying "Unknown card"
3. Charging is a bit slower than I expected and quite a bit slower than the previous Xioami 13 Ultra I had. It's not "real" 90W. It boosts to 90W maybe for a minute or two and only when the screen is off and ONLY when it is on "boost". Otherwise it stays on standard which is more like 40-60W charging. It's not slow, but it's not as fast as the real 90W the 13U has.
4. "Allow Chain Start" is really annoying feature that has been here for years when using a custom launcher. Thankfully after opening an app 3 times and "allowing" each time it goes away forever, but only for that app. Mildly annoying in the beginning when getting the phone and using it for the first time, or when installing a new app.
5. Camera bump is absolutely massive, but with a proper case it thankfully lays totally flat on the desk. Otherwise I don't like that the bottom edge of the bump touches the desk.
6. 4K video oould be sharpened just a little more.
Otherwise no complaints. Literally none. Ergonomics are perfect. No software weirdness. Camera is flawless. Video just needs more sharpness. The 6000mAh battery lasts forever. It drains almost less than 1% per hour and uses apparently 1.2W in idle. It came with a case, charger, accessories etc. Truly feels like a real premium product. My wife's Pixel didn't even come with a charger or case lol...
I really cannot think of any problems with this phone. I'm sure the Vivo X200 Ultra will be amazing but again I am glad I did not wait. No wonder people are scared of Chinese companies.

I find it stupid that they made the battery capacity smaller for the global model. Not a problem for me though, I'll just import (buy) the chinese model from aliexpress.

My Xiaomi 15 Ultra seems to be turning into a mini heater, warming up even during the most casual tasks.

Jesus, I cannot understand this curvephobia some people seem to have.
The glare on the curved display edges aren't even that bad in most phones. As if the smooth surface on phone displays isn't producing a big amount of reflections anyway.

Uther, 19 Mar 2025Hi! I've pre-ordered this beast. I'm just wonderi... moreOn the Xiaomi 15 (standard) you have :
720p - 30 fps
1080p - 30/60 fps
4k - 24/30/60 fps
8k - 24/30 fps
I guess you should get something similar on the ultra

Hi! I've pre-ordered this beast. I'm just wondering if it's possible to record a video in 24fps in at least 1080p or 4K? (any recording mode)

In my former phone, next to each contact in my Phonebook I could see his associated WhatsApp, Revolut and Telegram account (if he had one). In my new phone (Xiaomi 15 Ultra), I only see the associated WhatsApp account, but not the Revolut or Telegram ones. In the Revolut and Telegram apps, I can search and find all my contacts who have them, but I'd like to see these accounts synced in my Phonebook as well, like I used to in my former phone. How can I do this? Could it be that Xiaomi's integration of other accounts is less permissive? (Revolut and Telegram are granted access to my contacts).
Thanks

I liked this phone and wanted to get it but the corved screen eventually stopped me from getting it!
Also i am a bit worried about Xiaomi software update not matching the other big android flagship phones...

[deleted post]There is very disturbing rumors about the country actually doing that after kidnapping protestors, that's why you never hear anybody protesting in that country.
It's kind of sad that about all phones today are manufactured there.

We all know you love that incredible next-gen IPS LCD tech, so go ahead buy a Redmi A4 5G instead if you want a super high quality (720p) IPS display, alongside the audio jack and card slot. 🤓🤓🤓
