This phone does not have dual pixel PDAF. It's only available on the main camera. All the other cameras use different autofocusing technology, although they all offer all pixel PDAF.

xiaomi is similarly priced and worse

Everyone who makes various claims about the reasons why Xiaomi and other manufacturers do not put chargers in boxes and why they sell products with degraded characteristics (mostly batteries) on the EU market, are kindly asked to read this:

EU CHARGER LAWS (EU COMMON CHARGER)

EU Directive 2022/2038 requires USB-C to be a "common port". This allows consumers to charge their devices with any USB-C charger, regardless of the device brand. The EU explains: "Harmonisation will help prevent different producers from unjustifiably limiting charging speed and will help to ensure that charging speed is the same when using any compatible charger for a device."

"Consumers will be able to purchase a new electronic device without a new charger. This will limit the number of chargers on the market or left unused. Reducing production and disposal of new chargers is estimated to reduce the amount of electronic waste by 980 tons annually."

"Producers will need to provide relevant visual and written information about charging characteristics, including information on the power the device requires and whether it supports fast charging. This will help consumers understand if their existing chargers meet their new device’s requirements and/or help them select a compatible charger. Combined with the other measures, this will help consumers to limit the number of new chargers purchased and save at least €250 million a year on unnecessary charger purchases."

So, there is no EU directive that prohibits putting chargers in boxes, but it is required to offer the product without a charger in the box as an option for the consumer.

Manufacturers often decide not to offer a charger in the box at all, which is wrong. If you read the above provisions, it is quite clear that they are only required to offer the product with or without a charger. Moreover, legally speaking, it could therefore be argued that manufacturers who sell mobile phones exclusively without a charger are violating the aforementioned EU directive!

There you have it. I quoted the regulations from the European Commission website. I would ask those who constantly spread fake news about the reasons why manufacturers do not put chargers in boxes ("The EU is to blame! The EU is to blame!"), as well as why they degrade some elements of the product (most often the battery power) when sold on the EU market to provide concrete evidence (with quotes from the relevant EU regulations) in support of their claims.

                                    Thank you.
