I've said exactly the same thing that they have better af, sensor tech itself on the other hand hasn't improved that much, which is what I'm saying and you don't understand, lenses also haven't improved as much, look at canon, you don't need to upgrade to their new 70-200 2.8 unless you really want the compact size, otherwise the old ef options both ii and iii are decent options. They do have some new things that aren't possible on mirrorless like the 24-70 f2 and that's a beast, but it relies so much on lens correction in post processing and so do a whole lot of other rf lenses, otherwise 'old' ef lenses are still amazing.

Anyways you don't get it, I gave you a good example with daidoo moriyama, look at all the film era photographers and what they shot with, look at what people have put out with early digital cameras in the 2000s, you don't need a laica or hasselblad when you take literal poop. Skill is what matters the most, gear doesn't. Take your > and < out of here, a pro will take the same amazing photo with both a 'bad' old camera and a new mirrorless, who cares the size of the file is twice as big when it'll have to be brought down for printing and social media, or how dynamic range has stayed the same for 15 years. Do you not know what that is? That's one of the most important things regarding a camera. You're not even well informed, do you just know the surface of the water? No wonder.

Btw why do you even care this much? You said you don't want a camera in another comment on the x200 ultra, so why do you even care to speak so much? You're like a kid in the comments of doug demuro arguing between bugatti and koenigsegg and which is better when in reality you'll never buy those and instead are looking at a corolla. Aka you argue a lot on cameras worth tens of thousands yet just want a phone that takes good pictures. Excuse me?

But whatever, keep your consumerism mindset, of course the latest super expensive cameras are the best, of course you need them even if you can't take good photos, of course hasselblad makes the best medium format cameras even when not knowing their use cases. Again no self awareness and no understaning of what I'm trying to tell you(skill is what matter, you think too much of gear, just look at that meme of the guy with the 1d), no wonder you have trauma from school, you don't understand what people are telling you and that's backfired hard.     So wait for Xiaomi 15 Ultra or Vivo X200 Ultra?

    Vivo is expected to have 1440x3200 screen with Dolby HDR, 50MP front camera, custom V4 image chip and 6000mAH battery with 100W charging. It looks to be extremely similar to Xiaomi 15 Ultra in every respect except the Xiaomi has the extra 1 telescope camera and titanium frame option. Plus I guess those camera accessories etc. which I got for the 13 Ultra but will not buy this time.

    My wife already has the 13 Ultra and I would look to upgrade to this 15 Ultra. I can attest that the 13 Ultra camera is phenomenal and has never missed a shot. If only it got background notifications from western apps like Whatsapp, Signal etc. which it does not; this is really our only complaint. Except that well Xiaomi is also very expensive but my company would pay this phone.

          I said modern mirrorless flagship cameras are superior, than old DSLR cameras and IT IS THE TRUTH!!!!!!

          Of course you can still get amazing pictures with an old camera and good enough lens + skills, but a modern mirrorless camera + High end lens + skills >>>>> Old High end DSLR + High end lens + skills!!!!!!

          Again I haven't seen any new Full-frame and medium format DSLR cameras from 2022 - 2025.

          Mirrorless cameras don't have any new technology.

          For example, they have the latest AF, they have superior sensors and new lenses.

          Even if their sensors are small updgrades, they are still upgrades.
          For example, Medium Format Hasselblad H6D 100C loses against a modern mirrorless Full-frame camera.
          A 30K+ camera loses against a 10K+ camera.
          Ouch.

          The sensor in Hasselblad H6D 100C is way bigger, than a Full-frame sensor, but it still lost.

          Not all of them have new sensors, like Sony A1MK2.
          It uses the same sensor, as the MK1 does, so if you don't care about the other new features, then MK1 is enough.

          But for example Leica SL3 is an upgrade from SL2.
          From 47MP to 60MP sensor.

          Hopefully no typos.

Everywhere you comment you argue with people because you make stuff up(decide) in your mind and then you never change, once you decide this is how a thing is then you're going to die on that hill no matter how many people tell you you're wrong. Yet you do not have the self awareness to realize this, that maybe just maybe it's not everyone else who keeps telling you you're not exactly right but maybe your own thoughts that are not exactly correct? And you also contradict yourself so much. Now, you're even backpedaling on your words and suddenly yes you do agree that dslr take good pictures. That was hard to admit right? Mirrorless of course is superior but that's because newer stuff is always going to he superior, as someone said mirrorless is the evolution of dslr, and for your knowledge all pro dslr were better than their mirrorless counterparts until sony came out with the a7iii and suddenly they had wizardry in their af system that no dslr could ever have. But then again, as I said, sensor tech besides speed/readout hasn't necessarily improved in the last decade or 15 years and especially dynamic range has plateaued. And as the guy replying to this said and as I've said the gear doesn't matter when you don't know how to compose and take good pictures. You can buy whatever laica, hasselblad, fujifilm camera that costs as much as a mercedes and has the sensor size of your forehead and you still won't take better pictures than someone who knows their stuff.

                        Hopefully Vivo X200 Ultra has LYT 900 or something better.
                        Vivo X200 Pro has a smaller sensor.

What that screen show... moreDaidoo Moriyama takes amazing pictures and has only ever used compact cameras since the beginning of the digital age and his switch from film. More than a decade ago it was nikon, now he uses ricoh. Ricoh makes compact cameras with apsc sensors, so not even full frame, and the coolpix he used before used even smaller sensors. And yet his photos are amazing. Skill is always going to be on top, no matter the gear. You're just coping at this point. Like your example skill+new gear > skill+old gear doesn't mean anything, skill is what gets you the photo, the composition, gear is just the thing that saves it and all that new gear does is provide those results slightly faster which you don't seem to understand.

The guy you're replying to is absolutely right, the last of the dslr bodies are still amazing, especially considering mirrorless has only brought improvements to subject tracking and speed(fps), which if you're not someone who does bird photography it's not really that huge of a deal and a dslr would more than suffice, but then again you seem to be the type of person who likes to watch and read stuff about their stuff rather than actually use said stuff, cause if you actually knew what you were talking about you wouldn't spew this bs. Like the type of car guy who knows specs of every sports car there is but can't drive that well on track. But I digress, I recently bought a 5d mark 3 for 400 euros in near perfect condition, it's not as great at video as the mark 4 and is 8mp less but it's amazing for photography, better than any phone that has come out and will come out in the near future, if you actually want to take nice photos this is a better investment than buying a new flagship phone.

                                      I'm not a fan of the camera placement, but I can understand why Xiaomi did that because of the huge telephoto camera. If the rumours about 4.3x long zoom are right, that means we'll get about 100mm effective focal length instead of the current 120mm.

                                        Leica S4 will be a mirrorless camera.
                                        And Leica knows what they are doing.
                                        Leica doesn't make cheap or cut corners!!!!
                                        They make high end stuff.
