These newer images/renders look much better. Still don't think this is good looking phone but either I'm getting used to it or the old candid pic was just a case of really bad linghting and angle.

That USB 3.2 Gen 2 is probably a first, right? Let me know if there is another phone with it.

Looking ahead, I'm particularly interested in the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra. To be honest, I find myself less interested in the phones released this year, primarily because the mid-range models launched earlier were quite disappointing. I've decided that now is not the right time to invest in a new phone, as it seems that many mobile companies are cutting costs and focusing on technology research.

    I think Samsung's approach has been very wise; they haven't let public criticism sway them. Despite lower sales figures this year, their profits have remained steady or even increased compared to last year. Personally, I believe it’s best to hold back on spending for cell phones and electronics this year.

    For instance, with the Samsung Galaxy S25, the removal of the S Pen feature was unexpected. Additionally, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ appears overpriced with its Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, especially when alternatives like the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 or 7 plus Gen 2 could have been chosen. I'm genuinely disappointed with mobile devices released this year. The iPhone 16e is priced the same as the regular iPhone 16, which raises concerns about whether phone companies are taking their customers seriously.

    It's crucial that they do not play with our money. This year, the main focus should be on battery life and extended warranty periods. Looking ahead, I expect to see design changes next year, as we've seen with the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

    Here are some areas that should be prioritized for discussion next year:

    1. Faster chipsets with improved battery efficiency.
    2. Upgraded fast charging and enhanced camera AI capabilities.
    3. Enhanced user interface features and increased screen brightness.
    4. Improved drop resistance and larger battery capacities.

        In other news. I hope this phone comes out soon. Still not sure if I should pick X200 Ultra or this. Don't want to have to buy the pro camera kit all over again either.

                        Again, no autofocus on the front camera, the weak point of the range. In 2025, high-end phones cannot have a front camera without autofocus. If or if for the price of the high-end, they have to be autofocus, with dual pixel, at least. They must also have at least 32bit with 320Khz, audio resolution, and the range in question continues with 24bit at 192kHz. They also remove the infrared sensor. They also abandoned the 3.5mm audio output jack, which is infinitely superior to any wireless headset, which are toxic to the brain, and the audio resolution through the USB output is usually of lower quality, unless you buy USB headphones with a built-in high-quality audio processor; that is, they are copying the "bad habits" of other brands, such as Samsung, iPhone, etc. Another important point to keep in mind is that we should not buy any more phones that have a sealed battery compartment. This would force brands to put back the replaceable battery compartment, and this is still the weakest point of all brands, and I am also referring to lithium batteries, which swell and/or explode, causing fatal accidents.

But battery life is nowhere near the OnePlus 12, my friend with the OnePlus 12 gets 8-9 hours of screen on time, while I can barely push 7 hours, best I got so far was 6 hours 50 minutes of screen on time (WiFi only!) while binging an anime with a local player (mpv-android with hardware acceleration in this case). So honestly, if I were in the market for an Allrounder phone right now, I would likely choose the vivo X200 Pro.
