Amazing camera specs although a down grade from the imx 858 ultra wide sensor to a JN5 Sensor and optical finger print scanner instead of an ultra sonic doesn't feel right other than that its a perfect phone

I did try. I emailed & phoned Xiaomi to find out if ANY of their phones had an Ultrawide that you can use for superwide exquisite panoramas like the iPhone 16 Pro series has, but the answer is NO! Not with the Ultrawide-same answer from One Plus, and Oppo. I wanted to go wider than my 16mm f1.9 on my LG7ThinQ but so far only Apple do the necessary. It does make you wonder , as they are thus all not competitive with an iPhone. I do not understand at all!

If DSLRs are soo good, what you gu... moreIt just seems you haven't a very clear idea of what is a DSLR and a mirrorless... They are not two different beasts, one is just an evolution of the other.
"Live view" is not a peculiar trait of a mirrorless.
"Easier to use" (?) is not a peculiar trait of a mirrorless.
They are just the same thing, but one has a mirror inside, the other one not.
Comparing a mirrorless from 2025 to a DSLR from 2015 is exactly the same thing as comparing two mirrorless cameras, one from 2025 and the other from 2015.
Why companies are not making new DSLRs? Because mirrorless are easier to engineer, and they are just the natural evolution of that tool. Apart from normal techonological refinemets due to time, a top of the line DSLR is not by default worse of any mirrorless.
And, to conclude, no: a medium format camera is not inherently better than a full frame. Because if you are a photographer "sensor size" is not the only aspect you must consider when buying new gear. Take wildlife photographers: one of the best choices for them is a M4/3!

If I had money, I would go straight to medium format mirrorless cameras.
Medium format is bigger than full frame.

Why do I say old DSLR?
Because I haven't seen any DSLR cameras, for example from 2022 - 2025.
I have seen many mirrorless cameras from 2022 - 2025.
The technology has evolved and that's why mirrorless cameras have overtaken DSLR cameras.

These comments shows there is only kids playing here in opinion section of a enthusiastic website mfs wth are you doing see the specs like mind blowing Xiaomi killed every one with this and kiddos are crying for outdated audio jack which causes waterproofing issues when you drop your phone in toilet 🪠 does your favourite Samsung offers audio jack ? Who the hell whats sd card slot with 1024gb storage? This is probably the best every mobile device see the cpu clock speed 🤯💥💥🤯
