Crackling Doom, 23 Mar 2020It's uncomfortable for you. Not for lots of other people. ... moreWhy They Are Shouting Only About Having A 7.1 Inch Display? If Someone Is A Gamer And Want A Large Screen For Better Performance BS3pro Is For You. On The Other Hand If You Have Iches To Have Huge Smartphones Or You Think This As A Brick You Can Buy BS3. It's Simple As Falling Of A Rog.

My god that display is absolutely beautiful. I love it so so so much it's amazing. No notch, no hole, 1440p, massive, OLED, 90hz. It's gotta be the best display I've ever seen.

A most brilliant marketing move by Xiaomi. With Lenovo entering the gaming phone market, it is important for Xiaomi to differentiate itself from the rest. The initial market response has been so positive, Xiaomi has already decided to expand its Mi 10 Series to introduce a new member, Mi 10s, with 7"+ screen in the coming months. Hopefully, Mate 20X will have a successor in Mate 40X (Kirin1020, 7.2" screen, a choice of P40 and Mate 40 series' best camera setup).

Anyone know if this phone support NFC?

Mobilemaster, 24 Mar 2020Nobody said there is no demand on brick phones. I am just s... moreXiaomi makes plenty of different sized phones for various demographics. You're acting as if the Black Shark 3 Pro is the only phone they manufacture. It isn't. This is a gaming phone targeted at gamers. If the Black Shark 3 isn't for you then it isn't for you. Move on.

Xiaomi did not claim this phone is meant to satisfy every demographic. Because it won't. Yet you're acting as if they did make that claim.

                                Grow up.

Bhaumsbaby, 24 Mar 2020Yes. I have had a Xiaomi Mi Max which was a giant 6.4 inch ... moreNo it is not about discouraging somebody at not making huge phones, but in the first place they could use a poll to see what people really want. :) I will check the phone you mentioned.

Mobilemaster, 24 Mar 2020You are right, but not totally. I have to say that. I tell ... moreYes. I have had a Xiaomi Mi Max which was a giant 6.4 inch phone with 16.9 aspect ratio and huge bezels and used it for 3 yrs. Very tall and very wide phone. ( check the dimensions on this site ). They used to easily fit in my pockets and my hands and eyes got used to the size in few days

And that's how I can say even this phone will fit in most pockets.

You cannot define this as brick as the size and weight carry features like cooling system, dual speakers, big battery, heptic motors, better microphones etc..
Even the iphone 11 pro max ( owing to its stainless steel body ) is 226 g . But screen size is just 6.5 inches. Would you define that as a brick ?

So it is 50-50 preference for big and small phones. You cannot say majority will prefer smaller phones . Even though you put an opinion poll it will be 50-50

Please do not discourage manufacturers for developing large screen smartphones by generalizing your own opinion

Mobilemaster, 24 Mar 2020You are right, but not totally. I have to say that. I tell ... moreI firmly believe that there is a reason as to why Xiaomi (and other brands in the mobile gaming arena) do not infuse their flagship models with these gaming ones, and that is mainly because of the diverse audience... if you are one of those who look for good ergonomics and a compact smartphone, flagships usually have options but when you look for them in gaming models, I'm not sure a gamer would buy a gaming phone with a tiny size and if the thickness bothers anyone, they should understand that these models pack much more hardware than the usual smartphones... Also, smartphone gamers don't actually care whether the smartphones are compact or if they are brick-like... I plan on using the BS3P as my daily driver because I always embrace the good sides of a large and beautiful display, without notches or punch-holes, I have always adored the 3.5mm jack, and powerful hardware tweaks are more than satisfactory and I would never hesitate from saying that this phone is a king but unfortunately not everyone judges things the way they have to be judged...
"If you judge a fish by it's ability to climb a tree, it will live it's whole life thinking that is a fool"
And yes, you do have a few valid points, but I think that these models are sold to a different audience than the usual norm because these kind of phones are not for everyone... for example, Apple is bringing a 5.4inch iphone into the iphone 12 lineup because they know that there a quite a lot of people who prefer a smartphone for communications and basic usage rather than entertainment and games, but as i said earlier, the Black Shark 3 Pro stands where it is today as a phone for the extensive gamers who have nothing but good use for the large screen and other specs...☺

I am just saying they will lose some fans, because NOT everybody wants such a huge device in their pocket. I am absolutely sure if they would have make this a little bit smaller, more people would buy it. Sad there is not poll on GSMArena for us to see who is right. :)
