Bhaumsbaby, 24 Mar 2020You still dont get it do you. Smartphone sizes are incr... moreYou are right, but not totally. I have to say that. I tell you why. In the first place, do you use this phone? Have you put it in your pocket? Have you put something else in your pocket beside your huge phone? When you have to put keys, or something else in that same pocket when you have a heavy, and tall brick in your pocket things are different you know. And if somebody uses M size clothes for example, then you have a smaller pocket, and one more thing, when you use a 170+ mm tall phone, you have to be extra careful to not accidentally drop it. One hand usage could be impossible for a lot of people.

Of course a huge screen is a good idea, you have more content on the screen, but there are these disadvantages I just mentioned to you. If you wear some large clothes, it does not concern you, but you need to understand not everybody uses large clothes, and not everybody has huge hands(I am not that short of a guy, but I don't wear XL clothes).

And my last point, to say go and buy a smaller phone is ridiculous, when soon there will be less smaller phones unfortunately(so if you want a gaming phone there is no smaller phone to choose). By smaller I don't mean a 5 inch display phone, but a 6.2 or 6.5 MAXIM is enough for many people. 7.1 inches is just what I said above...Peace :)

    Aside from its minimal battery capacity considering its tablet-sized screen, i like this phone. Hope it can deliver quality pictures that can be comparable with others,

      Smartphone sizes are increasing constantly and that's why we are able to do more and more stuff from our smartphones (like watching content , podcasts, seeing and replying to emails, ticket booking, banking, paying Bill's, uber, web browsing , online shopping etc...)
      Big phones are the future .
      Now many will prefer a 6.5 inch screen and many will prefer a 7.1+ inch screen.
      And 7 inch plus screen on a phone doesnt make it a tablet since the aspect ratio of a tablet is very wide compared to a phone .
      These large phones also fit in any pants' pocket (try it ) so there is no issue of ergonomics

      And large phones have more space to cram basic features which are actually relevant for a great experience : Larger Battery, physical buttons, headphone Jack, dual stereo speakers , better haptic motors , cooling systems etc...
      So many will prefer these large phones as their daily driver if their usage is extensive .

      So you should not portray your opinion as a general consensus
