Dor, 22 Aug 2022I have the ROG phone 5, also bricked after less then a year... moreI'm the same, after a year quite a few things are no longer working in my ROG Phone 5. First was the fingerprint scanner. After that the speakers(both!) together with vibrations, which means I can't even use it as a regular phone unless I use Bluetooth headset. And now about two weeks ago auto rotate function died completely. It seems to be dead gyroscope. I am not even able to shoot any horizontal photos or video. Frustrating as hell.

I... moreWell i would've like to try the ROG phone 6 since the 8+ gen 1 is better, but since I had the ROG phone 3 and that it bricked under a year I'm a bit scared to go back with that brand, red magic would be something i would really like to try next though, but all in all I'm satisfied with the black shark, so if you ask me if I regret my purchase, the answer is no, I like the phone even though it's not perfect. About your trigger question, they are just amazing and clicky, for games like COD mobile it's a blessing.

So far, i don't understand the hate some have, this phone is good, of course I don't get much updates but I don't really care, it doesn't throttle much, it can get pretty warm but it's not a major issue, a lot of phone gets similar temperatures anyway. I haven't encountered major bugs or any issue some people speculate about in this thread. One thing that I don't lie though is the battery life, it's not very good, I would say it's acceptable but it isn't the best, that's fine for me though since I mainly use the battery bypass while I play games and the 120w charge is very quick. Anyway, in my opinion, it's a good phone for gaming at a nice price. Of course as an all around everyday phone my s22 ultra is better and so is my iphone 13 PM but that's to be expected with gaming phones anyway.

Guys please instead of fighting about the Xiaomi brand give an honest review.
I really think about buying this phone, searching of a gaming phone.
Red magic 7 pro is disqualified because of its under display camera which sucks (I know it's shouldn't matter on gaming phone but I still take some selfies)
ROG phone is disqualified as I have Asus ROG 5 which practically bricked after Android 12 update
Poco f4 gt is getting too hot while gaming
What do you guys think?

Poco F1 ,Poco F3 ,Redmi Note 10 pro and a lot other from this company they are ahead from 200$ to 499$ phones if want to challenge me with other phone in this price range U can reply.

Sin, 11 Aug 2022Xiaomi the only brand that breaks there's phones with ... moreXiaomi's Flagships and Gaming Phones have no such ads and they rarely suffer from critical bugs. Most of those are in the cheapest Poco and Redmi phones which also can be seen in other budget phones as well.
The SD Card and Headphone Jack removal was something they agreed with Samsung and the other Android Manufacturers so it's not Xiaomi's fault alone.
People complained about the pop-up camera's on the Poco's before and they're mocking Redmagic Under Display Selfie Camera despite being so innovative. At the end of the day, no one win's here when it comes to the selfie camera for gaming phones cause people always has something to complain on phones that they won't buy. Even Asus ROG with it's camera's on it's bezels, you can see complains there about the bezels.
It was blacklisted by the US not because of it wasn't trustworthy but because it started threatening the Apple's Sales but unlike Huawei it was a ban of investment not the product itself. DoD protects apple's sales cause they were paid to do so and instructed by Trump.
Xiaomi is pretty good compared to other brands although Huawei was better in the Flagship segments sadly if they didn't get Trumped they would still have native google support and banking app support

This phone is really cool. I like the style and the game experience of Blackshark phones. I tried a lot of androind phones, but Blackshark is the most comfortable phone I ever played. If I rate this from 1-10, I will give a perfect 10.

For reference generic phones without a name I prefer over a phone being Xiaomi branded
Just because a brand is popular does not necessarily make it the best Xiaomi got over hyped always
Xiaomi not impressed me or been impressive after the F1 Poco phone that did stand out as a bargain deal at the time
The value for money with Xiaomi phones today isn't that good and software is awful ads possibly malware worsted software a phone has
When I think value for money umidigi comes too mind or possibly just buying a gaming phones from a better brand such as Nubia

This brand was black listed by the us by the way it's not a trustworthy brand
As a brand Xiaomi is not good at all

I had an Asus ROG Phone 3 12/256GB I003DD, then I bought this BS 5 Pro 256GB 12GB RAM, I still do not get it, my Asus is still more powerful than this BS, there are 2 things I really liked on BS, fast charge (timed by me from 1% to 100%) takes about 28 min, the camera is really good for a gaming phone. And thats it, nothing else is better, there are no additional nits, isn't that fast compare with Asus 3!, pop-up gaming triggers has some software issues (xiaomi might fix it in the future), stereo speakers they are not in a good position AT ALL, when you play with your fingers sometimes you cover them, it comes with 720Hz touch sampling rate yeah right, touch sometimes is not that responsive while playing.
Anyway, I really regret buying BS 5 PRO and not waiting for Asus 6 to come out. I rate this BS 5/10.
Hope this info helps people who are hesitating on buying it.
