Jude1997, 29 Feb 2020Hello I was thinking of buying this phonw, is the camera go... morethe cameras?well simply it takes far better shots at day time then s10/note 10 series,software of xiaomi has improved and refined alot now,thoough it does not have an app drawer,you can download poco launcher which is xiaomi's own app on playstore or you can download nova launcher.dont hesitate a bit and go for it,NOW.

why are xiaomi phones getting more expensive lately...long ago they put ads on phones to cut phone prices down...now that its getting more expensive, they should remove the ads on their new phone lineups

I got the phone 2 days ago and I can tell you this:
The design is absolutely awesome and it feels great in the hand,
The display is beastly and eventhough 1080p, it is a magnificent step up from the MI9 and overall amazing,
The speakers are very clear, not as rich as I would like, but very clear,
Battery life is great on 90Hz and amazing on 60Hz,
Camera and audio have grand hardware potential but terrible software, and MIUI 11 in general is very buggy.
Overall, a great deal for the money you pay.

Mi 10 doesn't have an optical zoom.

Also you can install stabe POCO launcher for App drawer mode which is xiaomi sub brand app launcher. MIUI is most customizable android skin and has all the features you can think of.

I live in China and I have ordered it for myself. Due to the limitations in production, you can only order it online at certain dates (usually one week apart) and there are no phones in the shops. The phones available for ordering are sold within a few moments once they go up for sale. In conclusion, you won't be ab;e to find a retail version and buy i properly for some time.

Mi 9 was a no brainer. Some OnePlus ripoff like no jack, no SD, but they leveraged it with wireless charging, and boy, the fastest one! And they made QC charging compatible, they paid lincese unlike OnePlus who doesn't want to pay anything. And the infra and importat LED light was there. Design was sexy, oh those curves made it look so good even with a case. That was cool.
Mi 10 looks strong again, but wait... 208g? 9mm? Pocket reaper. I had Note9 and it was the fastest riddance ever as it boasted >200g. Almost 300g with smart case. Weight over 160grams is bad, anything over 180g is horrid.

All 5G phones are by default also 4G phones, most likely better 4G phones due to higher level of integration and optimization. All new smartphones from now on will by default be 5G phones. There are still many quality 2019 smartphones of pure 4G varieties available though.

It makes little sense for the phone-makers to make 4G smartphones based on SD865, because you don't reduce the cost by removing x55 modem. To reduce the cost, you will have to remove the options for cameras, and reduce the base memory-storage option from 8GB(LPDDR5)/128GB(UFS3.0) to 4GB(LPDDR4)/64GB(UFS2.1). No sensible phone-makers will do that this early in 2020.
