No I had Iphones... moreOk, I agree with your points, because it is valid.
However, there is no perfect thing in this world.
We all should give Xiaomi more credit on this.
It is one of those China brand that really fight for half price wonder.
For each point you mention, I think it really isn't a real issue for most user. Even there is not many updates and bug fix, it doesn't really bother for most user.
If you really want to compare among it's peers that try to steal it's thunder (OPPO, Vivo, Oneplus, Realme, Huawei, Honor, Lenovo) , I think Xiaomi has done enough job for providing updates compare to other China brand.
If solely just focus on updates, Oneplus is the alternative that everyone should looking for, with very close vanilla Android usage and updates, but it is not as affordable as Xiaomi brand.
For all other users that really want affordable priced smartphone with flagship specs, just look for Xiaomi. Huawei own's Honor brand no more is the real competitor due to Google banning.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2020Judged by what they actually deliver, both Xiaomi Mi 10 pro... moreThe xiaomi phones have always represented good value. It appeals to a different market compared to premium flagships. That is why they sell so well. If they priced it like you said, most people will buy the samsungs, onepluses and apples instead. So, give up the current customers for what benefit?

No I had Iphones but ios never works for me. Because I'm an engineer and I need to use my phone to manage my work through work time. Of course I prefer Android because of platform flexibility and I'm too addicted to Google apps for my work and as daily programming assistant.
I was talking about the facts which are not deniable. Xiaomi's phone never receive updates regulary. My last two phones brands were Google Pixel and Sony Xperia. Right now I'm using Xiaomi mi 9 (Xiaomi's flagship device). What I'm talking about is the development you receive through phone updates regulary. Xiaomi's phone bugs stays in their phone forever cause the company never update its platform necessitates. They are so slow. You should face this fact. Cause that's a fact. I recieve updates every three to four months. And they only update security patches with huge delays over the time when your phone is updated it just recive an outdated security patch.
I'm not a teenage with huge amount of time to unlock my phone and recieve beta updates and face the consequences of flashing ROMs.
I like Xiaomi mi 9 and I should add I love Xiaomi's platform look and theming engine. But crucial apps never receive updates for example messaging app has a bug which you can search it on Mi forums, they never have fixed that bug. Always I should clear application cache to access all my messages. This is not good and they never delivered what they have promised they would receive to users through updates. For example MiMoji that is only available in Chinese version of the phone.
I was asking that kiddo to stop being a Fanboy and try to talk about facts with proofs and references. Here we can guide other users to find suited phone that fit to scale of their needs based on our experience.

The reason I like MIUI better than stock or any other Android is because Xiaomi copied iOS so well.

Judged by what they actually deliver, both Xiaomi Mi 10 pro and Xiaomi Mi 10 are simply priced too low.
Here is my suggestion:
1) Xiaomi Mi 10 pro should be priced at $1000.
2) By adding a telephoto camera, Mi 10 should be priced at $800.
3) With newly modified pricing, Xiaomi will have more room to play with the forthcoming models:
Mi 10 Lite (Most likely a Dimensity 1000 based model);
K30 Pro (SD865 based model with 5G);
K30 Pro Premium (SD865 based model with more elaborate camera setup).

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2020660 euros is a weigh too much for a low economic brandThe 9T Pro is like $500. 10 Pro has almost double the battery charging wattage, increased mAh battery, vastly superior camera, higher internal memory, has an additional sensor, and is generally a direct upgrade in the processor/graphics department. Not saying I like the price, I always rather pay less, but the $750 seems like a decent price considering all the upgrades. I'm gonna miss the motorized pop-up selfie camera. Not only was that cool but I had the peace of mind no one could for any reason snoop through my front camera and see my face!
