the only two things missing from this phone are a 4k selfie camera and an ip rating. I aint too bothered about the latter but please Xiaomi provide us a 4k front camera for the mi 11 pro!! Had the mi 11 ultra, was very proud in showing off the main camera and video footage to IOS friends haha. Unfortunately got slightly embarrassed tho when I tried the same thing with the front camera:((

I think every phone manufacturing company should ditch water proofing and keep the sd card slot

Why Xiaomi you remove 3.5 mm jack, a bulky RAM hungry MIUI 12, remove sD card option, bulky 6.7 inch phones, where is compact phones like Redmi 3s in 5 inch size you put 4100 mah battery but today.... In 6.7 inch phone battery should be minimum 5000+...

Actually main problem for Xiaomi is they reserved top models for China with affordable price but in another country they provide garbage Redmi series hardly single model of Mi series is available in India and which is too costly😠...Xiaomi pls. MI series 6, 7, 8, se, 9, 10 ultra all are good phone but you not launched in Indian market a single phones but you launched e-garbage confusing Resmi series..🙏🇮🇳

Phone seems interesting but this little point is a deal-breaker for me:
3.5mm jack - No
I can't charge a phone using USB-C while using a dongle and headphones. And I don't want to spend another $400-500 on decent bluetooth headphones. As for USB-C headphones... does my PC have USB-C for headphones? Nope, it has lots of 3.5mm plugs. Does my laptop have a dedicated USB-C port for headphones? Nope, most models have 1 or 2 3.5mm plugs (shared or split connector for headphones and microphone). So I'm not buying a phone that doesn't have 3.5 jack.

It's mainly because if you're officially waterproof, the end user is allowed to claim water damage under the warranty, which is a big no-go unless you have the legal team to prove that it was outside of the rated spec.

Make the battery 5000mah Li-Po and add IP68 Dust proof/waterproof to this phone. Look out Samsung and Apple, I'm on your porch now.

Before jumping into buying this phone, check about its cpu
888 is known for overheating
I suspect it could be the reason why the price is somehow low

What is the point of 8k video when you have no card slot. A few hours recording and boom no more memory. Same goes for most brands today sadly.
They dont really seem to care about us. Unlike other features Memory size did not improve much in the last years because there was card slot. But when they remove it what will we have?nothing.
Im really sick of this.

Selling my Xiaomi Mi Note 10 to upgrade to this or wait for the Pro.
Mi 11 beats both S21 and S21+ in any areas and neck to neck with S21 Ultra but half the price. And MIUI is a very beautiful and visually such a satisfying OS.
