I saw the phone in one of the flagship store in Shanghai. Product looks good , camera looks impressive. But I have noticed the phone feels warm to me. Interestingly it is fairly warmer in comparison to 11 pro and 11. One factor may be continuous use by visitors with connection to power supply. However if the heating issue is related to device config, then this will be a huge setback for Xiaomi.

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2021Also pretty sure usb 2.0 cant achieve 67w through the cable... moreIt can. The adapter is still 24 pin and the cable is the same material as any other usb c cable.

The limiter here is the Data Bus inside the port which only supports data speeds up to 480 Mbps. Which has no connection to the voltage limiter.

Anonymous, 31 Mar 2021It's USB type C rev 2.0, not USB class 2.0. Since you ... moreYeah but before you try to act snarky read that it says on the specification table here on GSMarena that its ''USB Type-C 2.0'' not ''USB Type-C 3.2 gen/rev2''.

USB Type-C 3.2 (which released in 2017) is basically
shortened from USB Type-C 3.0 rev 2 to just 3.2.

And then you even have generations of 3.2 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_3.0#3.2
The newest being basically USB Type-C 3.2 gen 2

So if you know anything about cable specs, Xiaomi is still using a USB C adapter with a USB 2.0 bus in the port. Its not about the cables but the data port. Besides all the Xiaomi phone we sell at my work are USB 2.0 and only transfer at max 400Mbps. So I wouldn't be shocked they use the same port.

Unless Xiaomi misspelled the specs to GSM arena though. Which would be kinda clumsy for a tech company to not know the standards with naming.
