hello dears,
i buy this phone on 12 Aug sale from flip-kart.
i received this on 16 Aug.
it is awesome. every thing is working fine. i am very happy to use this phone.
but i faced a problem to connect the phone with my PC.
can any one suggest how i transfer data from my phone to PC or PC to phone.or also how i start internet on my PC with help of MI3

i installed skype on my mi3. screen display turning off when other person accept the skype call(till ringing it is fine). can any one suggest how to correct this.

Also always... moreHard disk & pen drives are not for carrying always with phone, when the 16 gb internal memory fills up, you can manage your memory by taking backup to either pen drive or hard disk. This is what i meant. And I feel pen drive is quite handy to carry even then. Even the 64gb SD card will get filled eventually may be it takes more months. But when that happens anyone should back it up as well by copying to other storage devices. Few may not need who doesn't have the habit of not storing much on their phone. But for most SD cards of any size gets full at one point. 16Gb in MI3 is well enough for installing all the needed apps. I have istalled most apps with 6 graphic intensive Games , still 2 Gb left out.

I just stated the real difference, i hope I have the privilege to point out the real difference, despite whether anyone chooses it based on those factors.
Picture clarity can be differentiated when using both the device together.
Battery efficient is just two hours more for 1000mah ?? We can't generalize unless we test both the device. for 1000mah it should be more than that.
And the price for 16gb zen 5 is Rs 12,999, you have quoted that wrong. My conclusion is for a Rs. 1000 more in MI3 you get more.

Its a common behaviour I just got MI 3 as well its not heating up at all, it gets bit warm..... I had a Samsung Zoom and Galaxy Grand 2 both use to heat up even when I was not using it.... MI3 doesnt heats up at all......

Intel processors are dual core with multi threaded capability, I think you know what does it mean. Yes battery capacity is more with mi3 but i think it will stand 1 or 2 hours more than ZF 5 with equal usage as MI3 display will consume more battery as its pixel density is more. So more battery is to compensate its screen. Jelly bean or kitkat doesn't matter at present both are customised with their own UI which added more functionality and interface looks are very different,not like typical stock android whether it's jellybean or kitkat. though ZF 5 will get Kitkat, what's wrong if not out of box. I never bother about what SAR value is because whatever they provide that will be within allowed range. SO THESE ARE NOT A DECIDING FACTOR WHEN IT COMES TO DAILY USAGE LIKE CALLS,MESSAGES,NET SURFING etc. And also ZF 5 having dual sim capability(THINK HOW USEFUL IT WILL BE). But IF YOU CONSIDER THESE ARE NOT TO BE CONSIDERED, THEN MI3 WOULD BE A GREAT CHOICE. i personally choosen ZF 5 as per it's all rounder capacity.

If you are having Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, etc. ON all the time, it will definitely be a drain. If you installed Google services and let them also stay on, its going to be draining more battery.

First, they are duplicates of what comes out of the box from android. Second, they are bloatware. There are much better apps in the market. If Samsung allowed people to uninstall their crap, it would have been great. Instead they let them auto-start during restart and hog all battery.

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2014Though external SD not supported in Mi3, it can support pen... moreyou will carry a hard disk with your phone! ok. Also always plug and remove pen drive is not handy. But it's your comfort zone i think. No problem with that. Enjoy.

I got this mobile on 5th and on 10th i received a message saying "mi rom update to version23".
After updating the rom there basic feature in camera i.e "SKIN TONE" feature is gone.
That feature is shown on the flipkart page in front and now that feature is missing.

Does this phone google ready? i mean since this is china phone and every1 know due to China's law near all google service has been removed. Thats why even you can install Google play (Via APK), you cant install/sync Google Play Service which be used to play some apps (google map, etc.) without rooting device which void any warranty.
shame.. this amazing phone has to be limited just because of android but cant install all android related apps.
