My old SE phone has bee... moremost bugs & problems stated here are either from 1st time smarthphone users who really doesn't know any normal smartphone warms up during 3g or high cpu apps or games, or either who got a fake mi3 through other source or who doesn't know the operation stating such as screen going blank problem and so on. The build quality is very premium, you gotto feel it in your hands to trust it. Use it then decide , it is no cheaply build.

This phone lo... moreWHr u got ur phone? misd call & msgs or shown in english only in indian version launched thru flipkart, except if you use some themes which are developed by others not xiaomi, uses some chinese on display of date or time, that too doesn't show on the indian theme released by xiaomi.
Phone heating if you use while charging is normal.

hi,
I bought this phone one week ago ,
This phone looks and works very awesome display and camera , performance is awesome
Totally the phone ui settings are good and so many to highlight,
i just wanna make this phone more better thats why i listed the things i noticed
Small things i noticed
1.Phone gets more heat while using with charging
2.home screen missed calls and messages received are shown in chinese i dont know how to change i to english since my language setting is english, also some home screen clocks not supporting 12 hrs format
3. Music player not paused during plug out of headphone/disconnection of bluetooth
4.locking the phno is pausing the video play is good but unloking plays the video should not like this

My old SE phone has been dropped ( on to tiled floors ) more times than i can remember and it does not even switch off let alone crack . This fragility of the Mi3 , the MANY bugs/problems posted in this forum and the lack of SD card slot means my money is still waiting in my pocket .

Why Xiaomi mi3 not made sufficiently available for the desire shoppers now ? Several millions (Indians) still waiting to buy it.

1. Zenfone 5 is 720 with 294 ppi pixel density where as Mi3 is 1080 441 ppi pixel density, with more pixels packed mi3 display will be more crispy, clear.
2.Comes with Jelly Bean now, upgradable to kit kat, But mi3 comes with kit kat out of box
3. Though Intel Processor is well enough, mi3 has quad core, zen 5 has dual core
4. In the battery department Mi3 has a much much bigger battery 3050 mah, while zen 5 has only 2110 mah, since both are 5 inch device the battery capacity is hugh in mi3.
5. And sar value of zen is 1.18 , while mi3 is 1.1. Though both are withing the standard limit of 1.6.
6. Atlast Zen fone 5 with 8 gb is only Rs .10,000, the 16 gb costs Rs. 12,999. Mi3 comes with only 16 gb with price of Rs. 13,999. With Rs, 1000 more you are actually getting a lot lot more. If 8 gb is ok then you can go for zen 5 with 8 gb for Rs 10,000.

AnonD-295415, 17 Aug 2014thanx dear. but will it again come with screen guard?no screen guard has a cut for the proximity sensor, the one with the phone is not a screen guard it is just a cover, there is no cut for the sensor in the cover, that is causing the problem.screen guard will be fine

Don't buy mi3 . it is heating so much.
Flipkart is not replacing the set even.
Heating that much that we can't make call.
Build,os, and performance are good.but the heating of phone make it useless.

RHN, 17 Aug 2014Guys which phone shld I tak Asus zenfone5 or xiaomi mi3 n d... moreDecide as per your requirement. Mi3 is a good phone with Snapdragon 800 where as zenfone 5 also a good phone with intel processor. It performs well, though in Antutu score falls behind snapdragon 800 of mi3. But it doesn't show any under performance when it comes to daily usage and high end graphic games like asphalt 8,front line commando etc. Touch response is superb and also comes with glove touch. Mi3 is having a 13MP camera where as ZF 5 has 8 MP camera with pixel master technology. Apart from processor and camera resolution it doesn't have any superiority over Zenfone 5 and yes it does have a extra barometer sensor(which i think you will never need in your daily usage). And obviously looks are also different, in this case you should decide what you like.
DECIDING FACTOR WILL BE
1- WHETHER YOU NEED DUAL SIM(ZF5)OR SINGLE SIM(MI3)
2- WHETHER YOU WANT EXPANDABLE MEMORY OR NOT(MI3 DOESN'T HAVE EXPANDABLE MEMORY).
3- WHETHER YOU ARE GAMING FREEK(MI3 DEFINITELY WINS HERE BUT ZENFONE IS ALSO ABLE TO PLAY MOST HIGH CPU INTENSIVE GAMES).
4- PRICE ZENFONE 5 at INR 10,000/- with headset included(INR 9000/-WITH SBI CARD)
MI3 INR 13999/- headset not included
NOW YOU DECIDE WHICH ONE IS YOUR REQUIREMENT.
