For everyone doubting the quality and build of this phone, I've had a Xiaomi Mi2 (not Mi2S)for about 10 months now. It runs on a Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and I couldnt be happier with it. Yes, they don't exactly have the best design(original design, that is), but Chinese phones are made differently now and I truly believe Xiaomi will be one of the pioneers of the Chinese phone industry. Although they have questionable design origins, they use a Sony imaging unit, Snapdragon 800 processor, and a LG 1080p 5 inch screen, among others; add to that the good build quality (I've dropped mine a couple of times), and you've got a legitimate competitor to the Samsungs, LGs, and iPhones of the world.

I'm confused. Will the Mi3 come with LTE? I know LTE technology hasn't been released in China yet so I'm doubtful, but they're using a Snapdragon chip that should come with a LTE chip on hand, and if they continue their strategy of releasing it in Taiwan and Hong Kong, they'd need to provide an LTE version to compete right?

Also worried about the LED notification, but as the Mi2 had that, I would assume that the Mi3 does too and they just didn't make a big deal of mentioning it.

kinghu, 09 Sep 2013Anyone know if this has (or will have) a dual-SIM version? ... moresuch a stupid question to ask..the specs clearly mentions only a micro-sim..so its only one..not dual-sim. x(

i have a friend who lend me this phone for a week so i could have a hands on experience (im an apple fan boy,btw..and oh i was using the mi2)..this little monster blew me away..
                        GREAT PHONE!
                        that's how i would describe it..just 2 words...
process info fast, and the resolution,i have never seen like one..looks better than an i phone or a samsung or HTC for that matter..i just dont know why this phone is not getting enough market share, maybe because its from China? dunno..,,anyhow,i have pre order the 3rd upcoming phone and hopefully it is a lot better than its predecessor..im not saying this is perfect but i guess for me its close enough..
i still have my iphone5 though, for the games alone..

Anyone know if this has (or will have) a dual-SIM version? Like the look of the newly upcoming phones from Xiaomi, Meizu and Oppo but need a dual-SIM model.

Give me LTE and a LED notification and this baby is mine.
I didn't miss the Xiaomi phones for nothing.

In terms of its specifications its very similar to the Lg g2 both have 13megapixel cameras, 441ppi screens, adreno 330, quad core cpus, 3000mah battery. I hope this phone and the Lg g2 both go far because they really do raise the bar for mobile phone features.
