I tot I'm going to lose this phone bcoz it was pickpocketed. But i tried Find my Miphone and it rly worked. It was on my city's largest mobile marketplace. And yet i got the proof to get it back! 2 drawbacks i saw from MIUI5 to MIUI6 are :
1. No music shortcuts on lock screen, in V5 you had controls to change songs or pause the playback but in MIUI6 there are no controls on lock screen.
2. No 3G/2G toggle shortcut in dropdown menu. This could be useless for others but i used that togggle alot and now its missing from the dropdown.
Apart from that everything is fine, look and feel is more refined now. Using MIUI6 for past 10-12 days.

Friends i am using this phone from last 6 months. its a great phone. Till now there is no any issue dropped 2-3 times from 3 feet height and no damage. Now i am waiting for MIUI 6 update. I am at chandigarh, did any got the v6 OTA update?

for front glass and touch pad replacement charges as Rs 6,600/- go to mi service centre and service the phone. it takes 10 to 15 days depemd upon the location

Good phone - but a lot of calls are not clear - due to dynamic defective background noise suppression. Tried changing the settings - but this resulted in my Call recorder not recording properly.
Took my SIM card out of the MI3 and put it into an old Nokia - and result was very clear calls in the Nokia (E72) - including Call Recording.
Other cons - built-in SDCard (non-removable) - built-in battery (non-removable) - except by service engineers.
The SDCard issue is important to me as it enables me to compare and sync files and folders. Although the MI3 can be connected to a PC via USB, there is no easy way to compare or sync with the PC.
