The phone has awesome specs and a great pricing...but its SAR value is high...thats something we need to think before buying it

Dear all, I have handled Mi 4i over two days. Let me explain in detail abt the phone.
Pros:
1. Very sharp display quality
2. Very slim and sturdy
3. Good camera both rear and front
4. Very good touch & light response
5. Fast browsing experience
6. Clear audio
7. Faster WiFi & network capturing
8. Multiple key bords including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil
Cons:
1. Over heating while charging and talking
2. There is some lag in UI and while accessing camera
3. No gesture control
4. Poor battery back up, only 6 to 6.45 hrs over heavy usage
5. Some specs like average Chinese Java phone like G5

Yes, Samsung is going to rule out external memory card option. They have already started with S6 and S6 edge. The basic logic is clear and valid. These memory cards cannot support high speed processing and thus the device lags. Samsung themselves create a internal memory with desired compatible transfer speed. This makes the device run smoother.

The Mi4 is the best, i must say better than iPhone5S. I am living in china and and many of my friends also using the same. The Asian Apple :)

It is very budget phone in this price segment.some of apps like two line status and other app works well but while sharing status on Whatsapp it says protocol not supported..
and sharing directly from www.twolinestatus.com will works fine..
is it phone problem? because two line status app works fine with my xperia..
i want to use that app because it is very cool site for status updating of Whatsapp..

Raj, 02 May 2015pliz can anyone tell me what does 16 gb internal memory and... moreROM & internal memory mean same thing, this phone has only 16GB memory, after minus those essential pre install apps, approx 12GB balance, no SD card slot to expand, you can either use their cloud storage or use USB on the go.
Just like Iphone & Samsung S6 no SD card slot.
There is a 64GB version, but currently only limit to China market.

I am using Xiaomi MI4 from last 3 weeks. This is what I felt against what was promised by the vendor.
Design:Awesome in comparison to all the phones upto 30K . like u get a real premium look with stainless steel body unlike other brands that offer u mould or metal alloy. That's why it's a bit heavier. Body is awesome and elegant 10 out of 10.
Display, touch, UI: Awesome 441ppi, beautiful, touch Very responsive, MIUI far better , highly customizable and user friendly interface that gives freedom.
Cameras : Good both in day as well as night. Front camera is awesome real 8MP.
Battery :as far as 3 weeks 've passed, battery is very good. I expect it to last forever like this way :)
Processor :gaint , good. The system gives options of performance mode & balanced mode. In formers case all 4 cores go by 2.5ghz and in laters case only 2 cores are enabled both cycling a total of 1.2Ghz
Satisfied.
CONS:
1.Yes it heats and heats considerably after using phone for heavy games for half an hour.
2.I'm using 16gb version but I feel that SD card option must be there.
3.Dual sim for those who feel it compulsory. For me I am satisfied with one.
4.Location of speaker. Sometimes these get covered with hands.
Conclusion :
Despite all the flaws for me it's value to my money. I am satisfied with it. It's has got real premium look and gives very much what it promises. I bought it for 20K. For new buyer, gud news is that the company has slashed it's price by 2K.
