it is a best phone.any new phone is best, but once used for longer period depeiciates the value and functionalities, like any piece of equipment has to be replaced in a long run,thats a reason why the word "UPGRADE" come into play.

If you are concerned about storage, you can always use a OTG USB disk. You can get cheap USB drives with micro USB plug now. All you need is software to access it, which is free (ES).

It overheats playing intense games like plants v zombies. Battery and charging are great, much much better and quicker than my previous phones. It seems to get faster speed on Internet than other phones. I like the camera. Great screen in daylight, vivid colours. Sound is disappointingly quiet. The miui software is confusing at first, but you soon understand it. Like most non Chinese users, I downloaded all the Google stuff. But you can still control the rights of each app, unlike in Google, Android.
I have had a couple of glitches in software, video not switching off sound during a phone call, but I think it is due to incorrect settings.
It feels "sexy" and unconformist to use, in a parallel world to Google.
And of course the last but not least is the great price.
