The battery backups brilliant and works for more than a day.the only problem is that due to hearing u can't use a plastic printed back cover as it destroys the plastic sheet of print.rubber covers ae ok to use.else the phone is fab if 16gb of storage is enough for u.

I facing a prblm since yesterday.i dont know y its happening. My sound is decreasing automatecally when playing songs video by any player. Its starting with loudnes but after 8 sec its going very slow. PLs help

I got this product, i'm currently using it , for a month. it is good
good sides are:
1,battery is as good as a rock until you open camera . it is not like it take all the charge but consume much more compared to other apps well that is same with other mobiles too. good thing is moderate use of battery in heavy gaming
2, it has a nice screen. with 445ppi, you can see almost everything
3, camera is nice for a 13 mp and 5 mp spec, i'm not saying it is better thant sony z1 etc
4, ram is good, otg support from usb3.0 , because some of my old usb were not recogonised. but run almost all file types.
5, price is low
6, 32 gb version available, which is also without lag .
7, it is good with 3g, 4 g
8, compact , it is small in size compared to other 5 inch dispaly phones, also thin too. (i got doubt and measured if 5" is realy there .. and yes there is :) )
9, 1800 103 6286 call them , ask about phone, they will help you with your doubts , before and after the purchase
10, nice finish, the back cover covers the sides too.
11 4g supot for duel sim
bad sides are
1, no headset with the pack, ...no headset at all
3, no sd vcard slot, none at all...but otg support is there, 5 gb cloud supprot is there, also if you can pay 2k xtra, 32gb version is there.
2, you can register for freebees at xiomi website, for scratch card and extra sim tray, for which i'm still waiting,
3, toll free xiaomi care , getting a human on the other side is not easy, but you will need him since the user guide is not much of a guide at all.
4,so much settings in miui6, no idea where to find what
5, stoke version is miui6,but miui7 offers better performance, and extra battery life, so if you need that, i'll ask you to download the miui7 beta version (nearly 900 mb) for mi4i before even purchasing the phone, my download interrupted every time i try. still trying.
6, no removable battery,
7, no dedicated camera switch, but the function it taken over by volume up switch, and there is no user guide to tell you that.
8, 32gb version only in grey
i'd say it is good for the price range. thin small, colorful ,handy and powerful,
charger has an output of 5v-2A which charge half with an hour and full within three hours. no stoke headset, screen guard, pouch,otg cable etc.
there is a prevent pocket dialing settings might ask you not to cover the upper portion of the phone , for all the time, it can be turned off. xiaomi forum is an active place for more details and discussion. download any miui version including beta from xiaomi site, warrenty covered
