I have been using this mobile 4 the past 4 months.. Mi4i 16Gb version..
Great mobile.. Never faced any issue.. No lag.. Display is fantastic.. Speedy.. Handy.. Battery backup is One day need to charge every night. High-end games supported well. Front and rear camera is very good. Outlook is beautiful. Have many variety themes and fonts.. Overall great mobile. Only issue is ringtone of the mobile is not that loud. Can manage with vibrate mode.
I would recommend MI mobiles definitely. Thank you Xioami.

After 2 months using experience
GOOD FEATURES
-nice build quality
-excellent Full HD display, awesome sunlight legibility
-superb camera, very fast capturing, 5-6MB for a photo
-battery life 1-1.5 days( twice than my previous galaxy note 2)
-sound quality ok. no issues
-fully cutomerizable themes, icons ,lock styles (also have several animated icons, eg-weather, calender, clock, compass icons such as in iphone)(no need 3rd party launchers)
-enough speed with 2GB ram {i installed too many apps (around 240), but never stucked
-task manager clear all background running apps not like in other devices, fast enough . eg-samsung not clear all
-built on virus scan, cleaner and block list
-video quality amazing
-just the camera can scan barcode
-charging is fast (it charges 70% in one hour)
-both sim support 4G
-scratch resistand display (i'm not using screen guard even)
-easy swap and change sim, if need to use 3rd sim
-OTG support
PROBLEMS
-heating problem while using high graphics games some times with call and internet
-small font in messeges (not a big issue)
-Non Removal battery
-fonts are not supported for some languages. eg- Sinhalese (සිංහල) in SL
-Non Removal battery
-No earphone in the box
CONCLUSION
-This is the best middle budget phones on the market up to now
-worth for money
(better than my galaxy note 2)

monu, 07 Oct 2015sir how is the battery.. any heating problem or lagging..There is no heating issue at all as I have used the mobile & the mobile comes with MIUI v 6.5.5..

I have purchased MI 4i on 8 th October 2015 via flipkart.com & after using for the whole day with a fear in mind about the heating issue, I surprisingly did not felt any kind of heating issue from the first boot as it was already loaded with MIUI v 6.5.5.
So please don't fall into the confusion of not purchasing it as its the best mobile in its price tag of Rs.12,999.00.
