I am using Mi5 for sometime now and it is so far very good... there is some issues with the memory management though (become slow if you don't close the background apps for sometime, this is an issue with MIUI and hopefully will be rectified with the new MIUI8)... Otherwise, its the best one you can get at least for the price...

MI5 User experience - DON’T BUY MI5, it’s too painful after spending 25K.
In short except build quality nothing is good in MI5. We expected so much out of it but it’s not even competitive with Redmi 2 Prime.
1. Heating issue: Battery Temp. Raise to 54˚C & surface of body will be to hot unable to hold in hand.
2. App. Permission not available to all apps, example can’t even change WhatsApp profile photo by selecting from gallery.
3. Display light & proximity doesn’t not work properly.
4. There are many other issues with MI5
All the complaints informed to MI service team got the replacement but the replaced device also having same problem.
Finally MI service team agreed that they are facing problem with this device and expected to overcome with latest update of MIUI 8.
No return in MI website, people please wait until MIUI 8 update comes or buy from Amazon at least from there you get refund OR BEST TO GO FOR IPHONE.

k, 05 May 2016Check if its a fake. Price looks fishy that you've quoted.The price isn't fishy at all for mi5, even after direct conversion and some charges for the import, the seller still able to earn a few hundreds of Ringgit.

k, 05 May 2016It could be a fake! So beware.Nope, it's real. You need to survey a lot to avoid buying overpriced Xiaomi in Malaysia. For the Huawei&Honor price, you can't fake it under Huawei Malaysia and always able to check it's validity of Malaysia set.
