Mi5 is the best phone with lowest price i ever had previous 2 years i had iphone 6 LG G3 sony Z3 and iphone 6s among them i like iphone 6s and mi5.Mi5 is nearly equalivent to iphone6s but half the price.I live in myanmar and it come from china with china ROM.But i got no problem.There is no heating issue i gurrantee it.Camera work like 6s which is very good.Display is good too QHD is good but too battery draining.I can use it for whole day without charging another time.Duraibility i got a temper glass and strong back cover i think i don't need to care.Guys this is $300 phone but it works like $700 iphone 6s.The only problem i had is facebook sometime stop responding cuz it is china ROM.When global ROM enter i believe it will be fixed.I recommend Mi5 cuz of it quality and price.

SG, 27 Apr 2016Hi, I received the phone on 11-Apr-2016 and I faced 2 ma... morehave been using mi5 since april 8 and getting atleast 5hrs of screen time, for me that is lasting for around 2 days easily. may be you should have your phone replaced within 10 days of buying.

Hi After 18 days if usage this is the sumnary-
Pros
Excellent Display
Excellent Form factor.
Zero lag
Very good finger print sensor.
Excellent sunlight legibility
No network issue.
This is a head Turner and beautiful handset.
Cons
Sub par loud speaker.
This does heat up but once you are used it's just ok.
Some apps crash and do not respond.
Camera is just OK.
Slippery back.
But overall I recommend a buy.

I received the phone on 11-Apr-2016 and I faced 2 ma... moreTotally agree with this. Even I had the issue with MI protect which I paid for but didn't get any sms till now even though I purchased mi5 on their first sale.
I had software issues and their support asked me to take the phone to service Centre after day one.
They should have given me replacement for having sent me a substandard product.

Hi,
I received the phone on 11-Apr-2016 and I faced 2 major problems:
1. Mi Protect activation:
Multiple requests but no resolution yet!
I received an email that said that I must contact on numbers given in the email if i dont receive an MI Protect activation sms. I didn't receive the sms, so, i called up on one of the customer care numbers given in the email. They said that it'll automatically activate in a 2-3 days. I went out of country for 1.5 -2 weeks, and I contacted them again on 27th Apr 16 but the activation still wasn't done. I emailed on the email id suggested with details and i still do NOT have a reply.
2. Phone Battery issue:
New mi5 phone battery doesn't last even a day!
I started to use the phone fully after I came back; I put in the sim in the new mi5 phone for the first time on 25th Apr 16, and found that the battery doesnt even last for a full day with my normal use (like I did with my mi4i or nexus 5).
I contacted customer care and they suggested that the phone would be repaired. Why should a brand new phone be repaired. It must be replaced if it is found faulty but Mi customer care person insisted that wouldnt happen and just stopped replying.
This is frustrating. A person doesnt buy a new phone to find it is faulty and then see it getting repaired within 3 days of putting in the sim.
I really feel stuck here. I really used to advocate MI over apple but right now i dont think i was right atall.
Would someone please help here?

And alot of people have been using their xiaomi fones for long without problems while my sisters xperia z could barely make it past 1year. Last week she called me to complain of overheating, inability to connect mobile data, and horrible battery life in her iFone 6. So what do u think about that. And i have seen a lot of broken ipad, unresponsive screens and so on. Forget it man, price does not necessarily mean better, we've seen it countless times before.

Is the ford a bad car? No but it is way cheaper than the Mercedes. The fact still remains that you can get the job done at lower prices but these big brands oems are just ripping you off your cash and you just believe because it's expensive then its the best.. ..lol, sheeps

The durability tho.. Its worst than my low end samsung.. Using for 4 month but already facing hardware broken, software error, WITHOUT drop that phone.. "you cant compare one phone blabla" i tried compare tab now

Mipad overheat , forceclosed app , gaming lag at some game even use nvidia tegra...
I cant trust xiaomi anymore :(
