AnonD-500788, 29 Apr 2016Exactly, the bend test is just a gimmick, who in the world ... moreNobody will break their phone purposefully. But this situation can very well be compared with phone in tight jeans, riding bike with phone in pant pocket, keeping phone in bag side pocket with tight luggage.
It would be ok if he had applied too much of effort. But in the video its just like breaking a cookie...appears too fragile.

Jerry rig has said so in the description. It reads as "IF Xiaomi wants to send me a Mi5 Pro to test, I will happily do so, (unbiased.) but I probably wont buy another one. I always fund my own videos, and this hobby is getting expensive"

Jerry rig everything is more like a Samsung fan ,me too .But that does not mean that every phone will bend ,he even bended the nexus 6p and even the hard HTC one m9. I don't know why would any company will give their phone for phone for such bend testnif their phone are so weak.These units are provided by some other company for wrong device.
Xiaomi mi 5 is a good device they took almost 2 years to built and design the phone.I am not saying that the bend test is false,but we shouldn't believe everything just by some misleading concept.

You might have seen the bend test video by JerryRigEverything.
There is another bend test video by "BCD Technology" in youtube which shows Mi5 is hard to break by bending. Now, these two videos are showing totally different opinions.
A question to Mi5 users out there "Do you actually notice that this phone is really fragile as shown in the bend test video?"

AnonD-531410, 28 Apr 2016Is this phone compatible with US LTE bands?Unfortunately no. Look under "Network" tab and look for US GSM LTE bands 2,4,5,12,17. TMobile uses mostly 12 and AT&T is dominant on 17.
I am in US too and can only look at these phones with envy.
