Its a great phone , yes android 7.0 is expected for this phone , the only issue i faced was adware , which i was easily able to get rid of by flashing an official rom from xaiomi.
great battery life , best part 30 minutes 83 %

so i still... morei would definitely recommend you to choose Xiaomi mi5. Its wayyyy mooore beter than redmi note 4. Mi5 have Snapdragon 820, note 4 only 625. Its mean that mi5 works more smoother than note 4. You can comper: Mi5=Samsung Galaxy s6!(cameras and performance between these two is similar)
Note4=redmi note 3. I think you should definitely buy Mi5 bro!

[deleted post]as a happy mi5 user i reccomend it to you, its really nice, believe me you will not regret your decision, you can not get any other phone with such premium quality, design and feature with this price tag

hello, sorry my previous post were unfinished.
so i still can't decide whether spending around $50 more for mi5 3/32GB worth it instead of going for redmi note 4 3/64gb (mediatek). My priorities are (from the top priority) os stability (minimum lag,app forced close,etc), multitasking, longevity, battery life, camera, multimedia.
which one should i choose? or you could recommend me other phone? any oppinion?

After last update for the phone MI5 which happened on 24/01/2017 my phone is not working properly. I cannot send pictures via Viber, all other programs on my phone are crashing. My advise: don't upgrade it or buy a different phone

i'm using mi5 for nearly 2 months, very nice phone, of course no phone is perfect even the hefty flagships, but this phone with its price gives you things no other phone can, premium quality, very beautiful design, very light (129g), miui is another point for this phone, i have never encountered heat problem, except when its plugged to the charger and im playing a heavy game, it gets war but never hot,
if you have limited budget, you can't find anything else near this phone. (to be honest even as a businessman i have no limit in my budget but i choose this phone, and Im happy for my decision)

This is VERY BAD phone as the screen is so delicate that it will break on the first fall on the soft ground as well.
