1. charging only
2.Transfer files(MTP)
3. transfer Photos(PTP)

Can any one tell why my mi5 doesnt detect pendrive through type c otg. Usb fan works with that otg. Even other type c phones detect pendrive througth otg cable

This phone has no band 800, but I'm living in the UK and it works perfectly.
If it doesn't catch 4G it will catch 3G you won't even notice the change

MSL, 22 Sep 2016I purchased mi5 from china through my friend in china, the ... moreits not too hard to get CM13 (Android 6.0) installed after u got the idea. if i remember briefly
- register urself for "unlocking device" @ xiaomi
(- update ur current rom through local onboard tool)
(- maybe u need to register urself @xiaomi and use credential on device, so they can get paired; no idea if it was needed)
- upgrade to chinese Developer version (Download file to device and use installed mi update tool)
- after u reboot to fastboot und install CWM; had trouble flash this, but u can also boot the CWM image directly
- from there u can install CM13 to ur device.
My CM13 experience is quite satisfying, as everything runs. Hope u can deal with upgrade to "Vanilla/CM13"

About the language, you might want to check the forum abouth the Global ROM for that.

How to update the system to an english version with google play store.

I have been using xiaomi mi 5 for the last two months. No heat issue. No lagging issues. No hanging issues. No fast draining issue. All these problems mentioned by users are because of carrier problems, which are common to other manufacturers. Xiaomi mi 5 pro is light, fast and ergonomic design. Recommended
