The only problem is carrier. When transmission of 📶 signal is full no problem it battery lasts long. No heat issue. Go for the pro version. It's the best. Believe me I'm enjoying it.

mi 5 phone is heated fastely when i open any application and using that application.its battery saver shows 35 degree and above.

I want this phone to replace my aging Samsung Galaxy S5. However, living in Canada under the Telus network means only the LTE supported for 4G internet is Band 4...something that this phone doesn't support. Yes Canada is moving towards Band 7 LTE but it is mainly still served under Band 4, which means I would have to stick to slower 3G, something I would not want to put up with.
I could go the the Redmi Note 3, but I was and am never a big fan of phablets. Disappointing to say the least.

I am using this phone by last 15 days,all things are good accept it's battery nd screen.its battery last for only 10 hours once you charge for full nd in sunlight screen is pathetic.
Go for Asus genuine 3 or apple iphone 5S

All about this MI5 is amazing enough..perfect in every detail..but,this phone become hot fastly when we use it to play games.but mi5 really worthed

Have it for a last 10 days fitted with MIUI GLOBAL 8.0 Stable. I have never experienced phone like this. Outstanding performance, design, ergonomic, super fast camera. Battery 24 hours heavy usage 48 normal. Recommend! The issues people mention are incidents every company have. I had Motorola Droid Maxx and gone crazy after a year irreparable. My last phone NEXUS 5 after one and a half year "took the command", going of and on by itself, disaster. Maybe MI5 will show some problems but now is fantastic.
I am somewhere in Europe no problem with network

I have this smartphone with no defect..
What can i say..
It's perfect!
We can compare to iPhone 7 or s7.. It will surprise this flagship!
Fast, beautiful design, multi-task perfect, battery very good, camera also very good and selfie it's near perfect.
This snap dragon 820 its wonderful.
Display its one of the best.

fumozhe, 13 Sep 2016What phone can't be used for listening to music while charg... moreWrong arguments on the temperature issues at least. I have Started using a Samsung after my Nokia N8. I bought the Note 2 16gb, rooted it and also modded it to use a wireless (rather induction) charger that are still considered a luxury by most as they are not standard even on expensive devices. i am now using a galaxy note edge 32gb 3gb. there is one thing that has been the same on all sammy devices i have used they all get hot as hell at times when booting a custom rom or flashing mods, each one of them got so hot that it felt like it would explode! the cpu temps are in the high 70 degrees it is also a fact that if u use the phone while charging it gets hot and doesn't even get charged properly.
Samsung and iphones have had this tendency to heat up when used for games and while charging. at times it seems to be so hot that if i cracked an egg and poured it on the phone itll be fried hitting it!!
there is another fact my note two was an indian variant but then had an S4 international, and note 3 intl which both had qualcom cpu opposed to the exynos on Indian models. the qualcom flagship chip i dont remember the model but it had these issues of getting v v hot and it had affected all the smartphones using that processor. Samsung developed an exynos proccy for S6 to avoid the snapdragon heat problem. my S4, Note 3 and S5 were all 4g models while the indian variant was not in note 3.
Xiaomi has made performance affordable for more ppl than the big brands ever could or would have or will in future. getting a bad piece is bad luck but defects are there everywhere. samsung is recalling the Note 7 as its batteries could explode and have in some cases.Airlines have told users to switch off the phone and not use it in flight as it is a risk. what will you say about that is it a careless co and bad device.

Hi guys, I'm totally lost and I'd like you to help me. Next month, I'm going to change my HTC One M8 for another smartphone but I don't know which one to choose. I'm actually hesitating between a lot of them like Samsung Galaxy S7 (or Edge), Sony Xperia Z5, Huawei P9 and Honor 8, Xiaomi Mi 5 (or S), Lenovo Zuk Z2 or the One Plus 3 or waiting for the next Nexus Pixel. Money isn't a problem. But I have small hands so I can't have a big/heavy smartphone and I play a lot with my smartphone. Thank you in advance for your help, have a nice day !
