I've been waiting on you guys to do a review for like 9 days now. It's possible I'm underestimating the time needed to make a review, especially with all the detail you guys provide, but from the fast rate at which flagship reviews seem to come up, I can't help but feel a little disappointed. There's barely any proper coverage on this thing, the best I found was these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ijkw9v8PeAw | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsIa30KHRJA
Do the flagships usually send review copies beforehand? Wish Mi 6 did what they're doing. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to you guys' coverage whenever it comes out.

AnonD-454683, 06 May 2017Go check Google and search Huawei is no. 1 in chinese marketYes, Huawei has a lead in Chinese market, but it provide products with expensive price and low performance. In China, Oppo and Vivo are from the same Manufacturer, and actually, own the biggest market share, it doesn't mean Oppo and Vivo products are better.

Harwey, 27 Apr 2017Thanx for your comment, obviously we'll have to wait for mi6... moreExactly. Don't be fooled by marketing, wait for independent scientific reviews such as the simple one GSMarena performs in their reviews to get an idea of what the audio quality is like.

mi6 weight is ridiculous.
i dont see any reason why mi6 is 40gr heavier than mi5.
their size is almost the same. so, is it about material ? i dont think so.
playing with 160gr phone for a long time use is p.i.t.a

They are made by Foxconn in China and that's not a secret at all. The concept that "made in china" is sinonymous of bad quality is from the past century. Of course there are sort of slavery systems in many Asian countries (China, India and some others) but that doesn't mean poorly made.

Anonymous, 05 May 2017Why is it still quickcharge 3.0 when its using snapdragon 835?Probably for one of two reasons:
1. Qualcomm charges royalties for everything, such as using whatever QC version for charging, or their proprietary CDMA (3g) bands for the US.
2. The QC3 charging boards might have been more widely available and/or cheaper. It was rumored the Mi6 was delayed due to Samsung buying all 835 chips for the S8/+, maybe that also happened with QC4 boards. Note that GSMARENA lists the S8 spec with QC2, but in fact it uses it's own "proprietary fast charging" which I just believe is QC4 under some contractual branding lease, because companies are using fast charge as a marketing statement these days (e.g. ON3T Dash Charge).
Personally, I advise against using ANY form of quick charge, even when desperately required. Most phones these days don't have removable batteries and official, warranty-bound replacement will cost upwards of 100usd. Your batteries are likely to stay healthier up to 4 times longer if you decide to slow charge the device, but not all devices have the option to NOT use fast charge which is kind of a "we're screwing you with maintenance costs in the long-run, because you will come to us for replacements", right to your face.
