Be careful with the new system update to MIUI11 "stable". SIM cards are not detected after it and Xiaomi support answer for question was "I think it will be fixed soon"

I got from miui 8 ... moreHi, I have had the Mi 9 6gb ram, with 64gb storage for around 8 months, and I still use it as my daily driver. The phone is a great performer and I always remind myself that I bought the phone 8 months ago instead of a month ago lol. It is an AMAZING device. Now, I play lots of pubg and COD Mobile on max graphics, and I can assure you that you can play for 3 to 4 hours none stop before the phone needs charging. And also the Mi 9 charges really fast, so you don't have to wait long to start playing the games again. I hope this was helpful :)

Hi!
this may be a bit more general question, but I want to buy this phone. Xiaomi Mi 9 support 20 W wireless charging, but wireless charger recommended by my shop is just 10 W. As long as I looked, majority of wireless chargers are just 10 W. 20 W wireless chargers are 3-4 times more expensive, is it worth? In reality, how faster will it charge with 20 watt charger than 10 watt charger?

I got from miui 8 to 12 (Chinese beta) and in may 19 the global version.
Very happy with my phone.
But I have a question is the battery on mi 9 is good for gaming like playing like 4hours on pubg hd 40fps

Camera quality better than MI 8 (new ultrawide camera and 48MP) but Night pics might be little bit btr on MI 8 since MI 8 has OIS (using GCam for Night pics improves quality by a lot. btw gcam does not have distortion correction for the ultrawide camera and it can't detect when it should use the main camera or telephoto for zoom depending on the lighting). Mi 9 can be found for q cheap so still pretty gd. It will get at least 1 more Android version update (MIUI 12, Android 11) and prob 1-2 more MIUI version updates

Mi 9 if you want lighter phone and best camera among these 3 (only a little bit better than 9T Pro)
OnePlus 7 If you want Oxygen OS (faster Software updates, closer look to stock Android)
Speed are same in all 3 phones. All have a 48MP IMX586 Main Camera. Design different, depend on your preference.

Does this phone has better ca... moreNova 5t and mi 9 main camera 48mp Sony imx586, both very good, but mi 9 Def wins in ultrawide (it has autofocus, nova 5t doesn't), telephoto too (mi 9 zoom wins, it has an actual zoom camera while the nova 5t does not).
Nova 5t has a macro camera tho (only for taking macro shots) and a btr night mode (Xiaomi Night Mode is shit af, *however, you can install GCam on mi 9 and improve the night shots that will even be better than the Nova's, Huawei phones can't Install GCam*)
